Meador’s Guide Service – Freeport 

We had a trip with Capt Tim post Tropical Storm so I wasn’t expecting much. Tim worked really hard to get us a limit of trout which we did and was able to experience a Jack Crevalle which was awesome. Tim is not the kind of guide where if it’s slow fishing, he’s going to just sit in one spot hoping you catch some. He’s constantly rotating spots to get you on fish, the man really works hard to get you on em. I felt like I was just fishing with one of my buddies, today. I HIGHLY recommend Captain Tim and will be fishing with him anytime I’m in the area.

Had an awesome time with Captain Tim Meador. We limited on speckled trout with most running 17-19 inches. Released several over 20. The boys really enjoyed Captain Tim showing them the ropes on catching trout with croakers. A limit of trout on their first trip, hard to beat that.

Captain Tim was great frim the start. He called shortly after booking online, again the day before, told us exactly what time and locations to meet. Tim put us on the fish znd limited in no time!

we caught a limit of speckeled trout in about 2 hours and tried to catch some bigger reds which we did.

I took my daughter out the morning after her prom. She didn’t want to go party with her friends. She wanted to go fishing with her dad. (That made me one happy man) she started out with a red fish, then catfish, then some trout. It was extremely windy but we made the most of it. She learned that you must be patient and you don’t catch them on every cast. Captain Tim was a trooper with her casting ability but he was a great teacher for her. Can’t wait to take the wife and other daughter out this summer!!!! Amazing experience!!!

Captain Tim was not only TOP NOTCH with fishing insight, but also a GREAT man to conversate with and just make the trip overall flawless, like you were fishin with your buddies. My fiance and i had a FANTASTIC time fishing with Cap Tim, also we are from Oklahoma so Tornadoes are VERY COMMON, however on this trip we had an AWESOME TREAT!!!! We got to see not one or two but THREE waterspout “tornadoes” (Tim was flawlessly careful with the weather and made sure things were overly safe, barely rained on us) we got some AMAZING VIDEO AND PHOTOS, caught our trout limit no problem! HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT ONLY A FISHING TRIP BUT OVER AND ABOVE RECOMMEND CAPTAIN TIM MEADOR! Looking forward to our next meeting!! -Scott and Jessica!

I can’t say enough good things about this fishing charter! Tim was hands down the best guide I’ve ever had. In just an hour and a half, we hit our limit, and it was clear that he knew all the best spots. His confidence and expertise made the trip not only productive but a blast. He was incredibly patient and knowledgeable, answering all of our questions and making sure we had a fantastic experience. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better day on the water. Don’t waste your time with anyone else—this is the charter you want! Highly recommend!

We had a group of 5. Three had zero fishing experience. Captain Tim taught them quickly and had them catching fish in no time. We limited out in the first hour. My group had a BLAST!!! Prior to the trip, Tim communicated great with me. He was very informative and accessible. He is a real professional!! Book him, you will not regret it...
