Skipper Dan - Navy Boat 

Skipper Dan operates the Navy Boat on the beautiful waters of Mauritius offering offshore adventures and inshore excursions. He has been operating a charter boat on this gorgeous island for over 25 years, so there is no spot he doesn't know about. He is a fun person who loves seeing his guests' faces happy and smiling - especially as they reel in the big fish.

You will fish aboard his 29ft Legend boat named 'Navy'. It's powered by two 140 HP Suzuki engines, with a maximum cruising speed of 30 knots. This speedy boat will get you to the offshore waters and the reefs very quickly, and ensure you have a good deal of fishing time on the trip. The boat has life jackets for safety and a VHF radio for connection with the coast guard.

You will also find all sorts of equipment on the boat - from snorkeling, outriggers, and downriggers to fishing gear that includes live and artificial baits. It also features a fighting chair that you'll use when battling with big game fish and a toilet which is a plus if you are bringing the whole family out.

Skipper Dan will take you fishing in the reefs of Mauritius which are incredibly rich in fish species - from small colorful fish, you'll just want to gaze at, to the bigger, tasty species such as Yellowtail Amberjack and Grouper, as well as Barracuda. You can take an offshore adventure to the deep blue waters where Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Blue Marlin, and Sailfish spend their days.

You can request a portion of the big game fish, but remember, Skipper Dan will keep the rest, and the smaller catch will be barbecued on Coconut Island after the trip.
