Stalker Charters – Lake Ontario
Stalker Charters operates out of Olcott, NY providing exciting fishing adventures on Lake Ontario. This lake is home to King Salmon and the expert crew led by Captain Kurt, a full time guide with over 30 years of local experience, will meet and surpass your expectations!
He runs this business for his family with integrity that is unparalleled. He firmly believes in delivering the best possible customer service by always providing more. Captain Kurt’s boat (currently under cosmetic and electronic upgrades) is a 36’ LOA Commander express cruiser, originally built in 1985, and restored in 2023. Powered by two 330HP Crusader engines, with a maximum cruising speed of 37 knots, it is a beast on the water.
The boat is extremely well maintained with top-notch electronics, safety equipment, outriggers, downriggers, and a centerrigger to maximize the catch. You’ll enjoy the boat’s amenities such as large stainless frame deck chairs, beautiful mahogany and teak wood cockpit deck floor, a private head with full sized toilet (sterilized between each trip), a multimedia system, and more.
Capt. Kurt will take you fishing for King Salmon, Coho Salmon, Rainbow Trout, and all Silverfish found in Lake Ontario’s waters. Depending on the season and the time of your trip, he’ll advise you which species you can catch in order to make your trip as productive as possible. There’s a variety of trips to choose from depending on how much time you want to spend on the water, and when you want to head out.
Captain Kurt takes pleasure in taking out and fishing with families with children. He’ll dedicate his efforts towards the success of your trip, so don’t hesitate to make this is a great family adventure!
New Your State fishing license is required and can be obtained online or in local shops.

Captain Craig is the GOAT
Captain Craig is a very experienced fisherman who won’t let you go home empty handed! He runs his boat like a boss and knows what the fish want. We thought we had scheduled our trip during a rough water cycle but he didn’t stop working the fish until we landed some big ones! He is so friendly and easy to get along with, I can’t recommend him enough! Thank you captain Craig, and we wish you the best on the summer derby. You literally made our trip buddy! See you again soon

Great experience
We had 6 people and we all caught fish! Had 10 fish on in a short time out there and landed 8. Out of the 8, 6 were monsters! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to have fun and catch fish. The captian was younger 26 years old but to see a kid this young out doing the “old timers” was shocking and impressive. My hat goes off to the captain Criag. So glad we found this charter will be going again this summer.

Overall the trip was great and we had a great time
We arrived and the captain greeted us but had warned us the fishing was slow. It was unseasonably warm and calm so I get it. He was talking to other captains to game plan. Boat was cleaned and well organized with good equipment. We got out and the captain set up the gear and was positive, a nice guy, and humorous, we all laughed a lot and had a great time. We started to catch fish pretty quickly and caught 3 very nice sized steelhead and 1 smaller one. We hooked into 2 other big fish but they were lost. We did catch another 4-5 small salmon and two were of size to be kept. He immediately released the undersized fish. I would book again and the captain said to come earlier in the year since we were at the tail end of the good season.
