GT Charter Services is based in Wyandotte, Michigan. The company is run and operated by Captain George, who specializes in fishing for Walleye. If you are looking for a fishing adventure for your friends and family with the waters all to yourself – look no further!
Enjoy your ride aboard a 21' Ranger boat, which was built in 2021. It comes powered by a 350 HP Mercury Verado engine and has a maximum cruising speed of 40 knots. The vessel is clean, spacious, and is fully rigged with top-notch navigational electronics, including a GPS, a fish finder, a radar, and a VHF radio. There is a wireless trolling motor for a quiet ride, as well as an ice-box and an anchoring system to make sure you comfortably stay where you want to. What is more, the vessel has a live bait tank. Up to four anglers are welcome to join the adventure.
On your trip, you will be able to land a delicious Walleye, using the best methods that the captain is familiar with. Kids are also very welcome on board: Captain George could teach them how to fish and could tell a lot about the local ecosystem.
The crew will provide you with your fishing equipment, which includes rods, reels, and tackle, as well as live bait and lures. Once caught, your fish will be cleaned and filleted for you at the dock after the trip, so that you could take it home with you and store the freezer.

We’re very experienced travelers and fished in many states and countries. Came home to fillet our fish to cook and texted the Capt on tsa policy. So next time he will get it right with other customers. We did tip as always and just enjoyed being on the river.

Was our first time doing a chartered fishing trip. Captain George worked hard to make sure we enjoyed our time on the water. Lake was rough but he continued to adjust and we were able to catch our limit of walleye and a decent amount of other species that were released. If you’re a first timer lime ourselves be open with George about your level of experience and you’ll have a great time.
