Gradyful Fishing Charters is based in Boca Raton, Florida. The charter is operated by Captain Shawn, who is often found guiding his friends and clients through the beautiful waters of South Florida. Each trip is a unique experience in a friendly atmosphere that will leave you with lifelong memories.
You will be fishing aboard a 33 Tiarra flybridge, which is powered by twin 315 HP Yanmar engines for more security and speed. She can comfortably take up to 6 anglers and is rigged with top-notch navigational electronics, such as a GPS, a fishfinder, and a VHF radio. The vessel is also equipped with outriggers, a live bait tank, an ice-box, and it features a top to provide you protection from the sun.
Each trip with Capt. Shawn can be customized to suit your needs and wishes. You can fish inshore, nearshore, the wrecks, reefs, offshore, or see what is biting in the freshwater of pompano beach . The captain is good at a wide range of fishing techniques, such as light and heavy tackle, drift fishing, jigging, popping, kite fishing, spinning, trolling, and bottom fishing.
On a day out you will get an opportunity to learn about the local species and where to find them. The captain is great with kids, as well as with anglers of all ages and experience. Whether it's your first time on the water or you are an occasional fisherman or even a pro – each trip you choose will be an eventful and memorable experience.
Among your targeted species will be Yellowtail Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel, Sailfish, Wahoo, Yellowtail Snapper, Blackfin Tuna, and many other saltwater species.
Your fishing trip with Capt. Shawn will include your rods, reels, tackle, live bait upon request, and lures. You will be offered soda and water, so feel free to bring your own snacks. The catch can be cleaned and filleted for you to take home after the trip.

Captain Shawn and the Gradyful crew were top notch! Had a great time and they were very attentive to us. We've fished all over the Americas- North and South, so once the crew saw that we were experienced and safe, they let us have at it. For me, fishing isn't just being on a boat while it's catching fish, but being an active participant in it, and the crew understood that and welcomed it. I wouldn't even consider another charter if I'm going to fish in that area. Salutes to the Crew!!

Captain Shawn and Ro-Ro gave my father-in-law and I an incredible fishing trip. We did a 4 hour trip and landed multiple mahi, including my personal best 41” mahi (a true trophy fish!!), 2 barracuda, and some bonitas. The seas were pretty rough the day we went out but the boat handled the waves great and captain Shawn and Ro made the trip enjoyable. Will absolutely head back out with these guys!
