The trips are available year round and you can join regardless of your fishing experience. Even as a novice, you can go after the biggest fish out there - the only difference is that you'll have more assistance by the captain than an experienced angler.
All aboard the magnificent 48' Viking Sportfish boat. This vessel has more than enough room for 6 anglers to join. She's been fully refurbished in 2020, has the latest navigational electronics and safety equipment. The comfort of this boat goes beyond what you would usually expect from a fishing boat - there's an enclosed cabin with AC, a private bathroom, a fully functional kitchen, and she's wheelchair accessible.
Visit offshore reefs and wrecks, searching for Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Tuna, Barracuda, Kingfish, and other big game fish. If you feel that catching them is too easy or too hard, you can always change the technique and adjust it to your skill.
There's hardly anything you need to do to prepare, since the crew takes care of everything. Your fishing equipment, license, catch cleaning, snacks, and drinks are fully covered. Just bring some sunglasses and sunscreen, and you're ready to go.

We were all thoroughly satisfied wih our 4 hour fishing trip. I went with 2 teenagers and 4 adults and we had a blast. Even though we weren't lucky trolling we found some great bottom fishing and came home with enough fish to feed 3 families. The boat is fantastic and has an air conditioned galley to cool off and plenty of room to spread out. He also had water and sodas for us which was much appreciated. When we got back they fileted all of our fish for us and it was some of the best fish we've ever had. Thanks again Captain Harold and Derek for a great day. Can't wait to go out again.
Had a group of 5 including 2 dads and 3 kids (ages 14, 14, and 13). Mix of girls and boys. First time deep sea fishing in Florida. Caught Max number of blackfin tuna within the first few hours of the trip. Did a variety of live and artificial bait. Captain and first mate afe incredibly knowledgeable and skilled, not to mention easy to talk to for an 8 hour adventure. Absolutely recommend and will be contacting Captain John in the future when we are in the area again!
I booked a 6-hour trip with Captain Harold and First Mate John, and it was an absolute highlight for me and my daughters. Captain Harold went out of his way to make sure my girls had a memorable day on the water. He was patient, professional, and clearly cared about making the experience special for them. John was top-notch — helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. He guided my daughters through every step, cheered them on, and made sure they had the best chance to reel in fish. His attitude and energy set the tone for the whole trip. We caught plenty of fish, but what mattered most was how much fun my daughters had. Watching them light up with every catch is something I’ll never forget. If you’re looking for a charter that delivers not only fish but unforgettable memories for your family, Happy Snapper Sportfishing is it. I can’t recommend Captain Harold and John enough.

Had a fantastic morning with Captain Harold. He has the first boat closest to the ocean on Pompono Beach, lines were in the water 15 minutes after we left, with our first fish within minutes. Ended up catching a beautiful 30lb wahoo, sailfish (catch and release) and a few others that were fun to pull in. Had great tasting fish (sashimi) for days. His boat is very nice, spacious, and rigged for a great fishing experience. I highly recommend using Captain Harold for your fishing experience. Thanks again!
This was my husband and my fourth fishing trip and it was the best yet. We caught so many fish and were even able to bring two blackfin tuna back with us. We caught several species. Captain Harold and his first mate were exceptional. Very knowledgeable and friendly. They even had drinks for us.
