AJ’s Bass Guides invites you to enjoy a day on Lake Toho, Florida, catching magnificent Bass. Year after year, this beautiful lake produces more Bass over 10 pounds in weight than any other lake in the country. This is what makes it a Bass mecca. And this is where you will fish with AJ’s Bass Guides.
Your guide, Arthur Jackson, who’s been in business since 1970, is Orlando’s largest and oldest continuously-operated fishing guide service. He is knowledgeable and kind, loves spending time on the water and loves to recall a tale of a trophy Bass caught aboard his boat.
He will provide you with the fishing gear and lures, but you are also welcome to purchase wild shiners as bait prior to the trip. They run at $20-$25 for a dozen and are the most effective Bass bait there is. Depending on the length of your trip, you can purchase 3-6 dozen. More info in trip descriptions, so head on to the trips section.
AJ’s Bass Guides will take you fishing aboard a 20 foot Skeeter Bass boat originally built in 1995, and restored in 2016. It is powered by a 200 HP Mercury engine and contains the necessary safety and electronic equipment.
Your trip will also include lots of wildlife so make sure you bring a camera to capture stunning sights, from Bald Eagles, Hawks, Osprey’s, various species of duck, as well as Alligators.
Since Lake Toho is so conveniently located near the Disney World, the SeaWorld, the Universal Studios, and the Orlando Convention Center, you can book a trip to escape the chaos of the imaginary world and join AJ’s for a fishing adventure made for adults.
