North Fork Adventures Charters invites you for a day on the water of Southold and Shelter Island, New York. The charter was formed to provide anglers with an exceptional customized experience on the local waters. It is operated by Captain Rob, who is a local angler in love with the thrill of fishing these waters. Located just west of Greenport, the boat is conveniently situated to downtown Greenport and Southold.

Capt. Rob will show you how it’s done. With more than 30 years of experience, he knows exactly what works and when it works. He will take you out on his 25’ Parker walkaround boat, which provides an exceptionally comfortable ride. It is powered by two 150 HP Yamaha outboard engines, with a maximum cruising speed of 30 knots.

It has a deep-vee hull and a wide beam which both contribute to your enjoyment on the vessel, and its fishing platform will give you plenty of space and opportunities to catch the fish of your dreams.

The captain can take you on a customized fishing trip so you can target the species that you want to catch. Depending on the season, you can fish for Flounder/Fluke, Bluefish, Black Seabass, Tautog, Weakfish, Porgy, and Striped Bass.

All of our trips are designed to maximize your time on the water.  Since we don’t have much running time to the grounds, we usually fish for the full time, then run back to the dock.  Your trip starting times are also flexible to suit your schedule as well as the tide cycle. This flexibility will give you the opportunity to maximize the fishing. The charter is made for a group of up to 6 anglers. Kids are most welcome so bring them along to learn about the greatness of the local fisheries and to experience a nice family bonding adventure.
