Your target list is vast and depends on seasonality. Head down during the fall and winter and it's all about Sailfish, one of the most sought after catches in South Florida. Come spring and summer you'll face off with hard-fighting Sharks including Hammerhead, Mako, Thresher, and Tiger.
A popular year-round catch is Swordfish. You'll have to venture further offshore but it's well worth the journey! Kingfish, Amberjack, and Barracuda also keep things interesting and make for consistent catches.

The crew was great, equipment and boat were in good condition, fishing is always hit or miss but we caught a few fish and had a lot if fun.
captain and crew put in their best effort to make sure we all had a great time, we caught an awesome nurse shark and many other smaller species
Chris and Ben did a great job keeping us on the fish. We caught the boat limit of black fin tuna, some red vermillion, trigger fish, golden tilefish, rose perch, and a few others as well. We definitely will hire Chris and Ben when we’re back in the area.

My dad has been fishing in Fort Lauderdale since the 60s. I grew up fishing in here too and became a captain the day I turned 18 – and I've been out fishing every day since! I love fishing and love getting my customers hooked up to the fish of a lifetime. Nothing thrills me more than having people come fishing with me year after year and planning their vacation based on coming out on a big game fishing charter with me. I love to fish and love getting new people into this sport. It's a lot of fun and there isn't any excitement to match being hooked up to a world-class gamefish.
