Azores Fishing Experience is your best choice to enjoy some fine angling on the waters of Portugal. You will cruise from the north shore of S. Miguel island with one of the best guides in the area. During your trip with the Captain, you will also be able to admire the beautiful coastal scenery of the secluded beaches and coves.

Enjoy your fishing adventure aboard an 18-ft Argus boat, which comes powered by a 50 Honda engine. The vessel has a carrying capacity of five anglers and has a maximum cruising speed of 22 knots. It is equipped with navigational electronics, which include a GPS, a VHF radio, and a fish finder.

Azores Fishing Experience offers an exciting adventure on the inshore, nearshore, and offshore waters of that pristine part of the world. You will get an opportunity to target a variety of species, such as Great Barracuda, Amberjack, Skipjack and Albacore Tuna, Little Tunny, Bluefish, Wahoo, Porbeagle Shark, Dentex, Grouper, Bonito, and Almaco Jack among the popular catches.

The Captain is very familiar with the methods that work best in the local waters. You will be able to test yourself in light tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, and popping.

You can choose between four and seven hours on the water. If you travel with your friends and family, you can rent the boat and the Captain, bring your favorite fishing equipment, and have the waters all to yourselves. And if you want to concentrate on butting heads with the fish, then the shared trips are the best choice. You will be provided with Shimano, Penn, and Daiwa fishing gear and tackle to put your catch together. As well as that, the snorkeling equipment will be available for those who want to take a dip in those blue waters.

Hello, I am Pedro I' m 38 years old an 23 years of experience as a fisherman. My father had a traditional azorean fishing boat "Barco de Boca Aberta" and I started learning with the old fisherman at the age of 15. I worked professionaly on fishing until the age of 30. Now we (I and my sister Patricia) started this project of touristic fishing and we are loving it, because we enjoy very much to meet new people from different countries and cultures.
