About the Captain

Member since March 2017
I am a second generation captain. I grew up commercial fishing the central and northern California coast. In the early 2000's, I moved south to run crew boats in the Louisiana oil industry, which I did for ten years. I have operated boats and fished in three oceans and have a lifetime of experience on the sea. .

Had a wonderful time and experience fishing with Captain Mike and 1st mate Wesley. They got as excited as we did every time a rod tip bent to the water. I had two 16 year olds out for their first time, and Captain Mike explained everything to them, helped us all, and made us feel so welcome to be on his boat. We had fish on the grill that night that he cleaned for us!
We will definitely make this at least a yearly event!

Had a great time out on the ocean. The fish weren’t biting as well because tropical storm Cindy had just left her mark! It was still great, caught a few fish and the capt mike and Jim Bo were great! Thanks!
