Capt Nels and mates Daniel & Caleb were awesome! Winds were crazy, seas were rowdy and they still put us on the fish. I think we used every reel on the boat, trying many techniques, and put us on 2 massive sailfish off the kites. Very knowledgeable and willing to teach along the way which I really appreciate as an amateur angler myself. We will be back this summer to get out to the wall and get that next bucket list fish!

we had to come and do it to bad weather because we had two small children with us. The captains made the best decision. We are so thankful for them! Can’t wait to go out with them again!

The experience was good. We caught fish to eat, it lasted as long as it was supposed to be, and I would do it again. There is a $150 fee for fuel, even on the <5 mile from land charters, that is hidden deep in the details. I received an email saying everything was paid, I divided up the money owed between people, and at the boat I was asked for $150 more dollars for fuel. I had to eat the cost, as it is obnoxious to come back to friends for more unexpected money. Charge the whole amount up front is my recommendation, it started the day on a bad foot.
