Popeye Charters invites you for a day on the waters of Lake Ontario and Fair Haven, New York. They are a professional crew led by Captain Werner Stenger who is a USCG 100 Ton Master Licensed Captain with years of experience fishing Lake Ontario and the surrounding waterways.
Captain Werner can take you out trolling Lake Ontario for Salmon and Trout out of the port of Fair Haven. You will have all the fishing gear available including rods, reels, tackle, and lures, so all you have to bring is lots of positive energy to tackle your fish.
You will fish aboard a 30-foot Tiara express cruiser powered by two 330 HP Crusader engines, with a maximum cruising speed of 40 knots. The boat is fast and will get you to the fishing grounds with efficiency and style. There is a toilet on board for your convenience, a bed.
Popeye Charters can clean and fillet your catch upon return to the dock, so make sure you bring a cooler if you plan on taking the fish home. They will do everything in their power to put you on the fish and to make your day on the water a unique experience. You will talk about this charter for many years to come!

This is like my 6th time out with Capt Werner. Only got skunked once but as usual he keeps changing it up until he catches.

my family and I had the best time with Capt Werner. We caught fish and the Capt couldnt have been happier to explain/teach us all the things he was doing. Our next trip will be with Capt Werner
My family and I had a blast today with Captain Werner! There were 6 of us on the boat with a wide-range of age and skills and Captain Werner catered to each of us. The weather was beautiful and each of us were able to bring in at least 1 fish. The boat had plenty of room for the 6 of us with a nice area to store our belongings. The boat also has a bathroom which is a huge selling point! The Marina that the boat is located in is very nice with a men’s and women’s restroom so you can wash up at the end of the day. Captain Werner cut our fish when we got back and took as many pictures as we request! I cannot stress this enough, this was a really fun trip and we can’t wait to go again next year! Thank you Captain Werner!
Captain Werner made sure the trip was fun and safe. My 2 kids, boy 18, and daughter 15 had a great time fighting several King Salmon and just being on the water. I'm hoping to book again next season. Thank you, Captain Werner!
Absolutely recommend to anyone! Werner is a great guy and very knowledgeable. We had an awesome day to end the season. All six of us caught a fish and some. Best catch of the day was a 22lb king salmon. We will be repeating our trip with Werner every year! One of the greatest experiences of our lives!
