The charter is operated by Captain Austin Plaisance who has fished these waters for a long time and works hard with his crew to show you a good time.
Captain Austin will take you out on a 24-foot Key West center console originally built in 2015. The boat is powered by a 250 HP Yamaha 4.2L engine and is an excellent choice for shallow water fishing.
The boat is fully equipped with the necessary navigational equipment like a GPS and a fishfinder, as well as a wireless trolling motor that will allow you to move silently.
La Redfish Outfitters utilize rod and reel, sight fishing, fly fishing, and bow fishing as very successful techniques. They will take you fishing out of the beautiful marshes of Southeast Louisiana where the fishing is like none other. Depending on where the bite is best, you might head out from St. Bernard or Port Sulphur across the river.
Your trip will allow you to target Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Flounder, Sheepshead, Largemouth Bass, and Black Drum.

The charter operator canceled 4 days prior to the trip date. This is an automated posting.
Even on a day when everyone was complaining the fish weren't biting, our trip was successful because of Austin's extensive knowledge of the waterway. He took us to pockets were we caught redfish, black drum and even a couple of sheephead. Great trip!
