Four Aces Sport Fishing invites you on a fishing trip on the waters of Lake Erie. You’ll head out of Ashtabula, Ohio, an area well-known for great fishing thanks to its location at the heart of the central basin, which draws very large fish. The charter is operated by Captain Tom Welcome who has fished these waters for over 2 decades!
Hop aboard his 30’ Sportcraft walkaround, ideal for up to 6 anglers. She’s got a 545 HP Marina Power engine that gets you to productive fishing grounds fast. She’s also fully equipped with the necessary safety equipment and a CPR-trained crew, as well as navigational features including GPS and a Fishfinder. What’s more, she has an onboard toilet to make each trip more comfortable.
You’ll head out in search of large Walleye, Perch, White Bass, and Steelhead that are found in abundance in this section of Lake Erie. You’ll use a variety of fishing methods including drift fishing, jigging, trolling, and light tackle in order to hook your prize. Capt. Tom advises you on the best methods to use depending on the season and the area you’re exploring.
All of the necessary fishing gear, including rods, reels, tackle, live baits, and lures, already awaits on board. Bring along any drinks and snacks you’d like to enjoy, as well as an Ohio fishing license. Capt. Tom welcomes beginners and children, as well as experienced anglers!
