Seidel Guide Service invites you to fish the beautiful and abundant Port Aransas waters in Texas. They offer bay fishing in Port Aransas and Rockport area with all the bays from Matagorda to Baffin covered. Captain Randy Seidel who owns and operates the charter has worked incredibly hard to make this a prime guiding service in the area!

Fishing takes place aboard a 24' Blazer Bay center console originally built in 2015 with a guest capacity of 5. The vessel is equipped with a GPS and a fishfinder used to locate the schooling fish, a livewell to hold the baits. It features all the USCG-approved safety equipment like life jackets and a CPR-trained Captain.

Captain Randy will take you fishing for the 'big three' species: Redfish, Speckled Trout, and Flounder. Depending on the time of year, you might also be able to target the occasional Tarpon, Bluefish, Black Drum, Ladyfish, Spanish Mackerel, Sheepshead, Jack Crevalle, and Sharks. You will do wade fishing and drift fishing as preferred techniques using live bait or artificial.

Seidel Guide Service will provide all the rods, reels, tackle, live and artificial baits you need, as well as a catch cleaning and filleting service. You will need to obtain a valid Texas saltwater fishing license, and you are welcome to bring own food and drinks for the day. Families are very welcome on Captain Seidel's charters and multi-boat trips are available.

The departure address may vary if the weather conditions make it difficult to cross the open water with high winds. This is a safety issue, but the other boat ramp is only 6 miles away. It will give you more fishing time and a safe and smooth ride to the fishing area.

Now, simply take a look at the offered trips, pick the one that best fits your needs, and get ready for your next angling adventure!

Smashed some specs with captain Randy!
Half Day Trip (AM) on June 26, 20252 adults

My buddy and I had an absolute blast fishing with captain Randy for a half day trip. Randy was honest, knowledgeable and was a treat to spend our morning with. He let us know the bite was early so we got up extra early so we could get on the fish. Within 10 minutes we were putting trout in the boat. We caught our limit super quick and spent the rest of the morning culling and looking for the redfish bite. We caught a few more nice trout and called it around 10:30. Exceptional trip! I’ll definitely be booking Randy again in the future!

Limited Out on Redfish!
Half Day Trip (AM) on April 14, 20244 adults

We had a great trip with Randy. We were very fortunate to limit out the entire boat of 4 guys with a redfish haul incl. one oversized red. Randy was prepared for our group and very knowledgeable about local spots and fishing conditions. We were very fortunate to have great fishing conditions and immediately be pulling in fish. That’s not always the case on fishing trips since there are many factors that go into a successful trip. Randy was a superb captain and I would highly recommend him and will definitely book a return trip.
