Grand Slam Charters provides unforgettable fishing trips on the beautiful coast of sunny South Florida! This fishing charter is firefighter-owned and operated by Captain Josh Holmes, who has over 20 years of experience exploring these waters.
Hop aboard his 34’ Sea Vee for the ultimate fishing experience. She’s powered by twin Suzuki 300’s to provide a fast and reliable ride and can accommodate up to 5 anglers. Other features include a full range of navigational systems, a live well, cooler, and fish box to keep your catch fresh.
The waters surrounding Key Largo are some of the most productive in the state, with deep waters just a stone’s throw from the shore and a huge mix of species crowding into every habitat around.
This includes pelagic fish like Mah Mahi, Sailfish, Tuna, Kingfish, Wahoo, and Swordfish. You can even fish the patch reefs for smaller species like Yellowtail Snapper, Porgy, Hogfish, and more!
Capt. Josh offers a wide variety of trips, suitable for every level of angler, and is more than happy to customize them to accommodate any and all clients. He brings along top-notch gear to ensure a successful day and will even clean and fillet your catch at the end of the trip.

WOW JUST WOW
Hat an amazing experience. Capt Josh is amazing! we went out all day caught a ton of fish and saw some pretty awesome water. Capt Josh explained and taught is alot. cleaned and bagged all our fish so we didnt have to. This is by far the best fishing experience I have ever had. already planning our next trip.

10 Hour Trip – Swordfishing

Yes, private charters are more expensive but so worth it. A full day on the water spending time with your friends and family, then catching a swordfish to boot can’t be beat. Josh had a plan, knew what he wanted, and executed. We realize we were on a mission to catch a specific species in a huge ocean, and we are thankful it worked out. Josh was chill which kept the whole atmosphere calm and relaxing. He was so great with my son who asked no less than a million questions. Definitely going to be a repeat customer.

Amazing day with captain Josh. I can’t say enough to justify captain Josh’s efforts to put us on fish and he did just that beyond my expectations. Two Awesome Days with Capt. Josh & Crew
We spent a fantastic two days in the Atlantic with Capt. Josh chasing — and catching — dolphins. There wasn't a minute that Capt. Josh wasn't working hard to get us on fish or get fish aboard. The boat is clean and well maintained. Capt. Josh is personable and fun. His crew were excellent. On this trip I caught my first dolphin fish, caught the biggest fish I've ever caught, and caught my first blackfin tuna. Capt. Josh cleaned & filleted our catch, and we came home with enough dolphin to keep us in mahi mahi dinners until next year. I highly recommend Capt. Josh for a fishing charter that will catch fish and make memories!
