The company is family-friendly, so kids are welcome to join the adventure. There is nothing better than seeing a child’s smile when they catch their first fish!
Captain Mark will take you out aboard a spacious 53’ Viking sportfish, which is a seaworthy fishing machine, well-prepared for the current bite. The Fishin Fannatic has been completely updated with 2 new Catapillar engines, all new interior and electronics. It cruises comfortably at 29 knots and is rigged with all new Furuno electronics. Licensed for taking up to six anglers out, the vessel has a 16’ wide cockpit and plenty of room for all guests to be involved in fishing. Inside, there is a fully air-conditioned salon with couches, a restroom, and a galley. There is a flybridge to spot any action going on beneath the surface. You’ll also have a comfortable fighting chair for the most challenged anglers, as well as an ice-box to fill up your catch with.
A day out in the North Carolina Outer Banks is not complete without a sport fishing experience. Each trip can be customized to suit your specific needs. The packages are from four to eleven hours on the water, including a full-day trip offshore. Your targeted species will include Mahi Mahi, Bluefin Tuna, Little Tunny, Yellowfin Tuna, Bluefish, Tilefish, Sailfish, Cobia, Wahoo, White Marlin, Blue Marlin… and the list just keeps going!

After taking a fishing trip in Florida the kids were less than excited for the mornings planned event. During the ride you good see they were again just along for what was planned. The shipmate noticed the vibe and his communication towards them was amazing. By the end of the trip all I heard from them boys is, When can we do this again and can we take an all day trip next season! Just what you want to hear from a group of kids that actually caught fish in the sea and two took ate fish for the first time in their lives! We had a blast because Fish Fanatics took the time and energy to ensure the family loved the experience!

As advertised! Captain Mark Fann and first mate Tom were waiting when we arrived at 5:45 am. We loaded up and were off. The six of us were able t9 catch fish and everyone had a great experience. The boat was awesome and had all the amenities you could want. Bring your own snacks and drinks and be ready for the first mate to put you on the fish. Captain Mark knows where to go and provides his lifetime of charter boat captain experience to make it a great all around event. Caught mostly ribbon fish. Great tasting, cooked them up that night. Next time we're doing the full day deap sea trip.

Captain Mark and the team from Fishin’ Fannatic were great. The boat was clean and well-appointed and the crew got us up and running quickly once we got out on the water. We all managed to reel in some good-sized fish, and having an option to get them cleaned right at the dock was perfect. Great trip, would absolutely recommend.

We spent a morning fishing with Captain Mark and First Mate Dillion and had a fantastic time. We caught a ton of fish, fed 12 people at our family reunion and still froze lots for them to take home. Thanks again to Captain Mark for a few great recipes for cooking the fish. Great time!!!
