Captain Johnny Riggs
Captain Johnny Riggs offers fishing trips of a lifetime in the beautiful waters of Boca Grande, Florida. These waters are famous the world over for their rich marine life, beautiful backcountry, and world-class sportfishing. Captain Johnny was born and raised fishing this area and enjoys nothing more than introducing his guests to the treasures it has to offer.
Your trip will take place aboard Captain Johnny’s spacious and sturdy 24’ Proline Flatback boat. This vessel is the perfect all-rounder – it is small enough to fish the shallow waters and the backcountry with ease, while also having the propulsion and stability to fish the nearshore waters of the Gulf of Mexico. There is plenty of room for up to four people to move around on board, as well as ample storage space for all your belongings.
There is always something to catch in these waters, and Captain Johnny Riggs has the expertise and equipment you need to find the best fishing spots. Inshore, you will be targeting Snook, Speckled Trout, and Redfish, while if you fish around the harbor and in the ocean, you could catch Sharks, Cobia, Grouper, Snapper, King Mackerel, Barracuda, Permit, Tarpon, and more.
Some of Captain Johnny’s most popular trips are focused on fishing for one specific species. If you have your sights set on an iconic Boca Grande Tarpon, huge Goliath Grouper, or toothy Shark, give him a call!
Each trip comes with all the fishing gear you need for a productive day on the water – whether you want to fish with live bait or artificials, you will find it waiting for you on board. Captain Johnny will also load the boat up with cold soft drinks.
This boat is most comfortable for up to four guests – larger groups should consider this prior to booking.
If this sounds like the perfect setting for your next adventure, book one of the trips offered below and meet Captain Johnny on the water!
