Marlin My Darlin Sportfishing is a company with an excellent reputation and almost half a century of local experience in Fort Lauderdale and the surrounding areas. Every charter can be tailored to meet your specific needs. Whichever species you want to take off your Southeast Florida bucket list, the crew will do their best to make it happen. Target surface and mid-depth Pelagic species, including Sailfish, Wahoo, Blackfin and Skipjack Tuna, Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel, False Albacore, Blue Marlin, and White Marlin. Troll live bait or artificial that the crew prepares themselves.
Bottom fish for Grey and Golden Tilefish, Grouper, and Snapper in the waters ranging from 50 to over 800 feet in depth. And if you are after something special, let the team take you Sailfishing. They were on the ground floor of the introduction of fishing for Sailfish with kites in South Florida!
Marlin My Darlin Sportfishing will offer spinning rods and reels and live bait for Sailfish, as well as soft rod and reel tackle for young anglers and all the way up to heavy tackle for big Shark. All trips come with Penn and Shimano tackle, as well as bottled water and the licenses.
All the magic happens aboard the ‘Marlin My Darlin.’ She is a 50’ customized Hatteras flybridge boat with twin 430 HP turbocharged Detroit Diesel engines. The Marlin My Darlin is a true work of art with all the comforts of home. She is fully air-conditioned with leather seating inside if you wish a break from the Floridian sun.

Outstanding Catching Trip!
We booked Marlin my Darlin for a 5 hour afternoon fishing trip. Meet up with the boat was super easy, even though they were not at their regular slip due to the Fort Lauderdale boat show. As soon as we headed out, lines were in the water catching bait fish. We caught a golden amberjack over 50 inches, a great barracuda about the same size, and 2 skip jack. Captain Nick knew exactly how to find the fish, and how to hook up. Also, his first mate Kaylee and second mate Landon were outstanding as well. We have been on many fishing charters and would highly recommend this crew. We would definitely book again as long as we could get the same Captain and crew. Thanks for a great day.

Amazing time!
We had an amazing experience aboard the Marlin My Darlin fishing charter out of Fort Lauderdale! Captain Nick was outstanding at finding the best fishing spots to troll and really made the day exciting. Kay was incredible, she not only set the lines and gave clear, educational instructions, but also expertly brought in the fish after we reeled them in. Her knowledge and energy made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Both Nick and Kay were polite, professional, and made us feel completely welcome. Highly recommend this charter for anyone looking for a top-tier fishing adventure!

Captain JJ and 1st mate Kaylee were fantastic! The 50ft boat was clean, comfy inside, coolers and fridge for whatever we wanted to bring and all of their fishing rod/reels were top notch! Kaylee was awesome with my 12 year old son who loves to fish at home as she explained all the things we would see and what to do throughout the day! She answered ALL of his questions and was so incredibly kind! We had an epic day catching bonita, Spanish mackerel, 61 inch WAHOO and then they switched out their rods to bring in the real big fish! Ended the trip with an 11ft hammerhead shark! JJ and Kaylee are who you want to book with if you are looking for a crew to make your experience fun and who will work hard to make it awesome!
