MM Charters invites you to come to experience some of that famous Florida fishing for yourself in Port Charlotte, Florida! Join Captain Tim Hermus for his specialty in Tarpon fishing while they're in season from April to July. Of course, you're welcome on board for inshore and nearshore fishing any time of the year!
Step aboard a 25' Sea Born FX25, originally built in 2017 and powered by a 300 HP Yamaha engine. At a top cruising speed of 53 knots, you will be handling your first catch before anyone else has left the dock.
This vessel comes with safety equipment, GPS, Fishfinder, a trolling motor, and a fighting chair. Everything you need to find this area's most sought-after fish and reel 'em in! The boat accommodates up to 6 guests but only 4 lines can be out at the same time, so you'll take turns.
If you missed Tarpon season, there's Redfish, Amberjack, Snook, Spotted Seatrout, and plenty more biting inshore and nearshore year-round. Come see what fly fishing the flats is all about, or bottom fish for the biggest Snappers you can find!
MM Charters provides fishing licenses, live bait, lures, tackle, rods, and reels for every trip. Capt. Tim will even clean and fillet your catch for you, so you can take it straight from the harbor to the kitchen. It doesn't get much better than good fishing followed by some good eating!

Tim was a great captain. Very fun and easy going. Took our family out for half day trip and we had a blast catching fish. Caught a variety of fish and saw sea turtles and stingrays as well. Tim’s first mate, his dog Lilly, was a huge hit. No one likes fishing more than her. Tim fileted the fish we caught and we cant wait to cook them up. Overall, our entire family had a great time and we are loolong forward to booking with Tim in the future. We would highly recommend Tim to anyone looking for a good time with great company!
Captain Tim was waiting and ready to go when we arrived. He was safe, careful, and very attentive to my inexperience grandsons. Thanks to him the youngest, 10, is ready to buy a boat and fish foever, and the oldest is now a master caster who has also been bitten by the fishing bug! We caught makeral, grunt, pinfish, and drum. The captain filleted the fish and I, following his suggestion for preparation, can now say that I enjoy Mackerel. 10 out of 10!
Captain Tim was a blast. He was fun to talk to and was great with my 5 year old daughter. He also helped her fish so my wife and I could fish without having to stop and help. Captain Tim was incredibly knowledgeable about local wildlife and pointed it out as he saw it. This is a great charter to have the whole family on. Tim was over all great. We loved his boat and the fact that we could go up into the tower so we were able to see sharks and dolphins was fantastic. We caught a large variety of fish, but our favorite was the shark. We fished both the bay and the gulf. Tim cleaned our fish for us and gave us just a genuinely good time.
Great day out on the water! Captain took us out in the Gulf first, taught us how to fish the bottom, helped improve our fishing techniques (we needed help). He was always ready to put our bait on, take our fish off, and cast for us, when needed. Then he took us into the bay, we caught some more fish (we had quite a variety, but a lot were too small or not in season or not good eating). His dog, Lily, was the best! She was always on lookout, and every "fish on" she encouraged us to reel in by barking! AND, she barked when she saw the dolphins, always before we saw them. It was a GREAT day.
We went fishing yesterday with Captain Tim and his boat-mate, Lilly. We couldn’t go deep sea fishing due to the choppy waters at sea however we did catch plenty of fish in the inlet and it was much safer. I appreciate a captain that keeps his crew and charters safe. We had a great time. We’d definitely recommend Captain Tim for others and friends and family! Thanks Captain Tim!

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Transfer to/from departure site may be available and included in price depending on your location and distance from the dock.
