Sportfishingcancun operates a fleet of great vessels, offering first-rate fishing at competitive prices in the legendary fishing town of Cancun. Located on the tip of the Yucatan Peninsula, the area is an angler's dream, with an endless stream of game fish making their way between the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico.
'El Guapo' is the perfect vessel for those looking to hit the reefs and offshore waters in search of top game species. At 27', she has plenty of room for up to 4 guests and has plenty of shade to keep the Mexican sun at bay. She also comes equipped with GPS and Fishfinder to track down the best fish, and a fighting chair to help bring them in.
Every angler worth his salt will have an opinion on the best way to catch a fish, but few can argue that a solid mix of casting, trolling, and bottom fishing is the way to go for targeting the best variety of species. That is what you will be doing aboard the Chowy, and there sure are plenty of species to choose between.
Spend the day chasing speedy Wahoo, Kingfish, and Barracuda, or dropping lines to tempt some tasty table favorites like Snapper and Grouper. You get first dibs on the fish – whatever you don't want, the crew will keep!
You'll be provided with all the gear you need for a successful. The crew also brings along some drinks but you're free to anything else you'd like to have with you on board. Please know there is a $5 docking fee.

We caught so much fish we couldn't take it all :) Kids (6 and 13) had a great time as well. Highly recommend! Only one thing to mention, there is a docking fee and parking attendant fee that are not mentioned when you book. Have some extra cash on you. We planned to give more tips, but ended up giving most extra away for various fees (docking fee is 10 for adults and 5 for kids)

It was a little rough going to the fishing spot that day, but arriving there the sea was better and coming back was calm and easy. We caught Mahi Mahis, Mackerel, Bonita, and barracuda. We also took the fish to the local restaurant and had a very good Lunch with lots of fresh fish. Thanks

The first hour was catching bait and heading to the fishing area so don’t be discouraged because they will put you on the fish. We caught eight Mahi Mahi and then a bonus barracuda on the way back. The large Mahi was 46 inches long.

we had an awesome time and caught about 8 fish between tuna a nd barracuda. Capt Rambo and Diego worked very hard abd we went out like 20 miles. We trolled which usually hasnt been my favorite, but we all caught fish!
