These guys made our fishing excursion the best day of our vacation! We caught more fish than I expected (~18 between two of us in a half day trip). 5 different species, and they filleted the ones we wanted and took us to the nearby restaurant where we had them cooked in a fantastic lunch! Would absoutely recommend and hope to book with them again next time we’re here.

My son and I went out with Captain Rambo and Diego on Tuesday, July 15th, and from the moment they dropped bait, it was game on! We booked a 4-hour trip and spent the entire time reeling in action—landing 10 beautiful dorados (mahi-mahi) and having an absolute blast.

We even lost another 5, but that’s just part of the fishing experience—nothing but excitement the whole way through.

The crew was top-notch, knowledgeable, and made the trip fun and easy for both of us. They knew exactly where to go and how to keep the energy high the entire time.

It’s not just a fishing trip—it’s a memory we’ll hold onto for a long time. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an awesome time on the water. Can’t wait to go back!

On every trip, we’ve come back with fish. These guys know where to go, how to adapt to the conditions, and they work non-stop to keep lines in the water and fish on the hook. They truly do everything possible to give you the best shot at success.

We brought our kids along on one of the trips, and the crew couldn’t have been better with them — patient, encouraging, and fun. They made it a great experience for the whole family, which really meant a lot to us.

We had a excellent trip on Mamacita crewed by Rambo and Diego.
Conditions were quite rought but we managed to hook up to a Mahi-Mahi on the way out to the fishing grounds.
We then arrived at our fishing location we caught numerous amounts of large barracuda. We also caught an type of Amberjack.
On the way back in Diego made a fabulous barracuda/lime/tomato dish with the fish we caught.

The trip was perfect from the start. Easy to find the location. Rambo and Diego were an amazing team. They gave us an option and we chose to go further off shore to try and catch multiple species.  Captain Rambo quickly got us on fish and we landed 5 Barracuda, 2 Mahi, 2 Bonito, and a snapper.  Diego was amazing at managing the rods.  On the way back to the dock, Diego made an incredible Bonito ceviche from our catch.  The entire experience was perfect and we would highly recommend Sportfishing Cancun - Mamacita and especially Rambo and Diego as a crew!
