Captain Art communicated well leading up to the trip. When he found out that we didn’t have a full group, he offered to fill open spots with folks that were willing to pay their way.(we didn’t take him up on it, but that was super cool). As we were heading out on a holiday weekend, he asked that we go earlier than planned to avoid the crazy. Also super cool. The good service didn’t stop with pre-trip communication. First, we were asked if we wanted to target any specific species. Art demonstrated solid knowledge of the various migratory patterns, habits and habitats of the fish. The mate, Travis, was also pretty awesome. Good natured, knowledgeable and unafraid to work. Travis also knew a great deal about the fish we were after. Once we dropped lines in, the professionalism continued. If we didn’t see reasonably quick results, Art didn’t play. He would bounce to another promising spot, and if we found light activity or sharky waters, he’d move again. He kept an eye on what the other captains were reporting to ensure we were always in the most optimal position we could be in. All in all, if you’re fishing out of Port Canaveral and you can get Captain Art and Travis, get them. Thank you for making our trip great, guys.

Nicholas, Thanks for the great review..Really makes a difference in booking charters..Hope to see you again soon..Capt Art
Everything worked out great for a trip of a lifetime. Capt Art and his deck mate, Travis, were outstanding! The weather was great with calm seas and low winds. Capt Art put us on all kinds of fish when other boats were reporting very little to no catches. I would highly recommend an outing with Arts Adventures. I really think having a deck hand was way to go as Travis was extremely helpful with everything while the captain kept us right on the fish from the flying bridge.

We could not be happier with our trip. Captain Art was on the ball keeping an eye on the weather before the trip and kept me updated the entire time. I'm grateful he puts his customers safety above making money, which is rare. We luckily had amazing weather. Captain Art and his first mate John made our experience one we will all remember for a lifetime. We went with a group of 6 and all of us caught at least 5 fish each. They were beyond patient with us! John was a master at keeping all of the lines from getting tangled and hauling in mutliple fish at a time. Not only did we catch a ton of fish but we saw some really cool things like leather back turtles, dolphins, flying fish, sharks and jelly fish. While John was baiting hooks and keeping the fish biting, he explained why they do what they do and actually taught us a lot while we were on the boat. I could not reccomend them more. It can be scary being that far away from shore but we all felt extremely safe with Art's experience. The boat was perfect too. It's a great size with a bathroom and plenty of shade. I can't wait to go again and will use Art's Adventures in the future. Thank you Captain Art and John!

Captain Art and first mate Travis were absolutely amazing! The weather wasn't the greatest but they went from place to place to be sure that we got fish. I would absolutely recommend them to everyone that is thinking about chartering. They are honest, caring and very helpful. They will make sure you have a great time.

Willamena thanks for the great review!! Travis and I had a good time also. Wish though the weather wasn't so windy!! Hope to see you next year when the fish are chewing the bottom out of my boat!! Tight Lines..Capt Art

Captain Art & First Mate Travis worked very hard to put us on fish. Great experience and would use them again!!

Thanks Boyd for the review. Travis and I also had a great time. Hope to see you again soon...Capt Art
Port Canaveral, Florida, United States
Captain Art has been fishing ever since he was a little boy, and is obsessed with fishing and diving the blue water and the deep sea. Art received orders to Florida, for the second time, in Aug of 93 where he has fished and dived these waters non-stop. Fish behavior and habitat has become second nature to him through all his underwater encounters. He has made hundreds of dives off the Florida coast and has discovered numerous uncharted fish and lobster havens that always bring good results. It is said that if the fish aren't biting then Capt Art will go down, see what the problem is; and fix it!!! Capt Art retired from the AF in June of 2003. He is now doing what he enjoys the most, FISHING AND DIVING, DEEP SEA ADVENTURES ON FLORIDA'S TREASURE COAST.
