Salmon Catcher Charters Toronto Ontario 

I had a great time out on Lake Ontario with Salmon Catcher Charters! It was the perfect way to escape the hustle and bustle of the busy GTA and enjoy a peaceful trip out on the water. Captain Bob was great and really made the experience wonderful. He took the time to explain everything so clearly and I learned a ton about the gear, fishing technique, and the lake itself. Caught some King Salmon and a beautiful Steelhead! Overall fantastic experience!

The captain was so sweet and truly talented and well informed and gave my husband andbi many insights and tips. The boat was beautiful and the day was absolutely perfect. My husband caught his personal best, 20 pound Salmon in the first 2 hours!! Genuinely the most cathartic experience. This was a treat for his birthday and captain Bob helped make this day so special. Thank you to captain Bob and the King Salmon that made our day!!

Despite not catching a fish, I had a great time. As a hunter and lifelong fisherman, I know that every trip brings the chance of getting skunked. Bob was constantly adjusting the lines and fighting to get one hooked, but the beautiful weather countered his efforts. Mid may isnt prestine for salmon, as their more active in late june and july. we were hoping for a drop in barometric pressure, but it never came. Bob and i had some awesome conversations while we fished and my favorite part of the trip was learning the ropes. I asked a ton of questions about the equipment, the depth of the lures, what the lures are doing underwater, the speed we trolled at, how to target salmon va trout, and Bob was happy and excited to teach me. this was an A+ experience — even without a fish being caught and i will be coming back to fish with Bob one on one once again ASAP because I know our luck will shift on the next adventure. if youre a real fisherman, you know that there is so much more to fishing than just reeling one in. Bob delivered on all of those other aspects that led me to fall in love with the sport, and based on his other reviews, my lack of catching is clearly uncommon for his clients! Thanks for a great time, Bob! Hoping to get back out with you in july barring my hip surgery!

My son is a fishing fanatic, so when we were planning a trip from Nova Scotia to Toronto, we knew fishing would be on the list! We booked 2 half days with Captain Bob and were not disappointed! Captain Bob was fantastic! He has so much experience and is very knowledgeable about everything fish related. Trolling was a new method of fishing for us. We love ‘bait and wait’ fishing so this was right up our ally! Captain Bob had everything we needed. The boat and equipment were top of the line! We caught fish both days! An amazing experience for my son (we enjoyed ourselves too). A trip filled with memories that will last a lifetime! If you’re considering a guide, I’d highly recommend Captain Bob!

My wife, 10-year old, and I had a great time with Captain Bob today and caught a fish who btw was very tasty 😁🙏🐟. Today's weather was overcast with some sun and rain which was great not too hot not too cold and the lake was calm and not too choppy. Captain Bob knows his stuff and he is good company. The gear is top notch and boat is very comfortable with all the amenities. This trip was the first time my son had fished on Lake Ontario so that was very exciting for him and he was very happy getting his first salmon. Thanks for a great time Captain Bob 🙏😁

I booked this fishing trip as a gift for my husband, and it turned out even better than I expected! Despite the cold weather and rough lake conditions, Captain Bob was incredibly professional and made sure they had a great time. They managed to catch four great-sized lake trout, and my husband came back really happy and excited about the whole experience. This trip fulfilled one of my son's biggest wishes. We experienced our first real big fishing adventure together and it couldn't have been better. As someone who owns a boat and goes fishing quite often I always try to book a fishing trip when travelling abroad and do not consider myself an easy customer due to high expectations. I am so glad to have found and booked a trip with Captain Bob. The experience was top notch from start to finish - the instructions were detailed and precise, his timing was impeccable and we were off in less than 10 minutes of prep time. His knowledge of the lake is downright scientific - he did his temperature measurements, found the right parameters and dropped the lures exactly at the right depth. As a result we had 5 fish on the boat (all released - another wonderful bonus for me) and 4 or 5 additional strikes despite the fact that it was a cold November day and the season was basically coming to an end. Add to that a breathtaking view of the city and you really would be hard pressed to find a better way to spend 5 hours in this majestic area. The next time I'm in Toronto captain Bob will be the first to know!!

My son amd myself had a brilliant day fishing with Bob on his boat on lake Ontario! it was certainly not the best time in the season to try and catch Salmon and the odds were certainly against us ( but as we had floen iver from the UK we was limited to out options to catch Salmon af ghis time of the year . But with Bobs Knowledge and boat and equipment he managed to find the fish trying on a few different locations on this massive lake which is only achievable with many years on fishing this waterway! we manged to get 9 hook ups with Salmon on his deep trolled lures and landed 4 x Salmon in total onto the boat (with the best weiging around 10lb in weight)where we took photos of out catch and returned every Salmon back to the lake safe and sound ! my son and inhad never fished for salmon before in the UK or Canada and Bob made our dream come true and we had a successful trip under his captaincy! Our fishing trip on Lake Ontario in Toronto was an amazing experience! Captain Bob had everything perfectly organized and made sure we felt comfortable at all times.
