These waters are known for Atlantic Salmon, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Lake Trout, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), and more – with any luck, it won't take long to hook into some. You'll target your catch by fishing with heavy tackle, trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available. Otherwise, you should bring your own. Snacks are permitted onboard – bring your favorites so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
Your day begins aboard a 27' Trophy Pro walkaround that holds up to 4 passengers. It has downriggers, and all the essentials. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Brined bait 'herring' is on board to make sure we have all the chances at landing that fish of a lifetime.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates often work for tips, and it's customary to offer them a 15-20% tip.
Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.
It's always wise to bring sunblock (non-spray), a hat, and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. There will be some light snacks provided on board.

Had an amazing experience fishing with Captain Scott yesterday! I had the pleasure of taking my dad out for his 65th birthday/Father's Day, and Scott made it a truly special and memorable day. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating, making sure we targeted the fish we were most interested in catching (my dad wanted rainbow trout so he took us straight to rainbow land). As an added bonus, he even cleaned and filleted our fish for us while on the boat. I can't recommend Captain Scott enough and will definitely be booking another trip with him in the future.
Booked the trip to celebrate our son's 14th birthday. Captain Scott was great with giving him guidance, answering questions about the equipment, allowing him to independently reel the fish in, and celebrating his success. It was a relaxing and enjoyable trip. The minute we got into our car at the end of the charter, our son was asking when we could go again!
If you want to experience the thrill of catching a (really) large salmon, a true King Salmon, give Captain Scott a call. His passion for fishing, his dedication throughout the trip, and his knowledge are unparalleled. A truly incredible experience, in a beautiful atmosphere. I would return to Toronto just to repeat this experience with Scott.
Went out with Captain Scott with friend and his son from Montreal. Started off with a bang, three salmon within thirty minutes. Landed ten or so salmon on a very overcast day. Captain was great, you can see he has passion for his craft, explianed equipment to us. Will definitely be back to land some more salmon.
Captain Scott was very friendly, fun, and informative. We caught several King Salmon fish. He showed us many strategies and explained how to increase our chances of catching fish. Highly recommended!!
