I can’t say enough good things about Captain Terry and his first mate, Talon. These guys run a first-class operation and put us right on the fish! We ended up catching 6 halibut and 2 rockfish, and it was an absolutely awesome day. One of our halibut measured an impressive 43 inches. The trip included great snacks and drinks, including delicious locally made salmon dip, and we were surrounded by breathtaking Alaskan scenery the entire time. This was the perfect excursion for my wife, our three sons, my nephew, and me. Captain Terry and Talon made everyone feel welcome, were incredibly knowledgeable, and worked hard to make sure we had an unforgettable experience. If you’re looking for an amazing halibut fishing charter, I highly recommend booking with Captain Terry. We would do it again in a heartbeat!

Had an awesome fishing trip in Juneau! Captain Terry and the deckhand were both incredibly helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable, making the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. We had a great day on the water and were lucky enough to catch both coho salmon and halibut. The crew worked hard, kept us comfortable, and made sure we had a memorable experience. I’d definitely recommend this trip to anyone looking for a great fishing adventure in Juneau! 🎣

Started the day trolling for salmon, caught a couple of silvers right off then it stopped. Moved on and caught a couple of halibuts a d rocks then went back to trolling for salmon. Caught 7 good sized silvers. Ended the day watching a dozen whales bubble feeding. It was a good day
fished with Captain Luke and Deckhand Tanner of Rum Runners, they are great guys! Three giys in their twenties, and two 50’year olds and we had a great time! Caught our linit of Halibut quick and then targeted salmon. Luke and Tanner were great sports as our guys did “fishing report” videos, joked and laughed the whole trip! if we are ever blessed to fiah Juneau again we will call up Rum Runners and ask for these guys!

Capt. John and his mate Levi were absolutely great with my family. The fishing was a little slow but they kept adjusting until we were able to start catching. After halibut fishing they took us to view a sea lion colony and to fish for rockfish. Lastly on the way back we were able to stop and view some whales. I will definitely book again if we return to AK.
