Juneau Adventures invites you to spend a day with Captain Terry White exploring and fishing the waters of Southeast Alaska. Captain Terry has been fishing and whale watching here for 42 years and is able to provide invaluable knowledge and tales of great fish and whales in the area.

The Juneau season starts on May 1st and lasts through mid-September bringing in Halibut, Coho, Chinook, and Chum Salmon, as well as Rockfish. Captain Terry provides all the fishing gear needed to target the fish including rods, reels, tackle, and lures.

Fishing is done aboard the Dano, a 32' Armstrong Catamaran that is fast and stable. Built in 2008, it has a capacity for up to six guests who will enjoy the spacious walkaround deck and heated cabin. Powered by twin 300 HP Suzuki outboard engines, this boat is very efficient.

The vessel features all the extras needed for a productive trip such as electric downriggers for trolling, an icebox for your catch, a GPS and a fishfinder to locate the best fishing locations, and more. There is an enclosed cabin with two beds, a toilet on board, and a kitchenette.

Juneau Adventures offers 4, 6, and 8 hour Salmon or Halibut charters, as well as 6 and 8-hour Combo trips for both Salmon and Halibut. All charters include snacks, soft drinks, and water, and on the 6 and 8-hour charters, you will even have lunch!

The Whale watching and sightseeing charters last from 2 and a half to 4 hours. We can help you set up round trip transportation, and fishing licenses are available for purchase onboard.

Best trip ever! - Core memories made
Half day halibut PM on August 2, 20262 adults4 children

I can’t say enough good things about Captain Terry and his first mate, Talon. These guys run a first-class operation and put us right on the fish! We ended up catching 6 halibut and 2 rockfish, and it was an absolutely awesome day. One of our halibut measured an impressive 43 inches. The trip included great snacks and drinks, including delicious locally made salmon dip, and we were surrounded by breathtaking Alaskan scenery the entire time. This was the perfect excursion for my wife, our three sons, my nephew, and me. Captain Terry and Talon made everyone feel welcome, were incredibly knowledgeable, and worked hard to make sure we had an unforgettable experience. If you’re looking for an amazing halibut fishing charter, I highly recommend booking with Captain Terry. We would do it again in a heartbeat!

An Unforgettable Juneau Fishing Adventure with Captain Terry!
3/4 Day Trip - Combo (AM) on August 12, 20264 adults

Had an awesome fishing trip in Juneau! Captain Terry and the deckhand were both incredibly helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable, making the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. We had a great day on the water and were lucky enough to catch both coho salmon and halibut. The crew worked hard, kept us comfortable, and made sure we had a memorable experience. I’d definitely recommend this trip to anyone looking for a great fishing adventure in Juneau! 🎣

Captain and deck hand made the trip!
3/4 Day Trip - Combo (AM) on July 14, 20265 adults

fished with Captain Luke and Deckhand Tanner of Rum Runners, they are great guys! Three giys in their twenties, and two 50’year olds and we had a great time! Caught our linit of Halibut quick and then targeted salmon. Luke and Tanner were great sports as our guys did “fishing report” videos, joked and laughed the whole trip! if we are ever blessed to fiah Juneau again we will call up Rum Runners and ask for these guys!

Absolutely great trip
3/4 Day Trip - Combo (PM) on July 12, 20264 adults

Capt. John and his mate Levi were absolutely great with my family. The fishing was a little slow but they kept adjusting until we were able to start catching. After halibut fishing they took us to view a sea lion colony and to fish for rockfish. Lastly on the way back we were able to stop and view some whales. I will definitely book again if we return to AK.
