Palmetto Fishing Charters
If you're itching for a hook up to test your fishing skills, Palmetto Fishing Charters is the answer! If you're a complete novice and want to fall in love with angling, the answer is the same. Captain Ryan Isabelle has all the answers and he's keen on sharing them with you.
Join him for a fishing adventure in the waters of Murrells Inlet on board his 24' Sea Hunt, which can accommodate up to 6 guests. Her center console design allows you to move around freely while chasing the bite, and her T-top provides shade so you can take a break from the South Carolinian sun.
The area around Murrells Inlet is extremely rich in fish species you can go after, thanks to the many bays and inlets that connect to the ocean. The A-listers of inshore fishing are all on the catch list. Redfish, Flounder, Black Drum, and Spotted Seatrout are all waiting for the right angler to give them a fight. A bit further away from the marshes and bays, you can hook up Sharks, Cobia, Bluefish, Spadefish, and maybe a Mackerel or two, depending on the season and local conditions.
You'll be provided with all the equipment you may need with Palmetto Fishing Charters, as well as Capt. Ryan's expert advice. He'll even clean and fillet your catch on your way back to the dock. Just make sure to avoid bringing spray sunscreen (lotion sunscreen is fine), glass, and bananas on board.
Taxes and fees involved with the credit card processing are not included in the price.

Me and my brother have been taking these 4 hour inland trips for years and I must say this was the best one.Ryan really knows what he’s doing and works really hard to keep the action going. You get hung up,he’s there.Need bait,he’s on it.We caught 6 redfish over 26 inches and a couple flounder we took to the hotel for dinner. If you want your best chance at catching some nice fish,Ryan is a good bet.Great guy too.Planning on going again next year.

Thank you so much, Mr. Guelda, for the fantastic review! It was an absolute pleasure having you and your brother back on the water. We definitely had to work for those fish, but once we found them, the action was incredible. Landing six over-slot redfish and a couple of keeper flounder for dinner made for a memorable day! I truly appreciate your kind words about my effort. I always do my best to keep the hooks baited, lines in the water, and everyone fishing when the bite is on. Thank you again for trusting me with your trip, and I can’t wait to have you both back next year for another great day chasing big redfish! Tight lines!
Captain Ryan was tremendous. He was super knowledgable and answered every question about the wildlife, boating and was extremely friendly in general. We caught redfish, flounder, and sting rays. Ryan thought we hooked a couple bullsharks too! But they got away from us. Incredible experience overall. You must wear sunscreen and prepare for the boat to rock SIGNIFICANTLY from the waves. We felt sick a few times and Ryan brought us back to calmer water to settle and then took us back out again. Sweet experience, sweet music playing, just a wonderful addition to our trip. Thank you, Ryan!

Thank you so much, Mr. Norman, for the excellent review! I truly enjoyed having you all aboard and answering your questions about the wildlife and boating around Murrells Inlet. You caught a great variety of fish, and those bull sharks certainly gave us a run for our money! The prize was the redfish! I’m glad we were able to find calmer water when needed and still make the most of the trip. Thank you again for choosing Palmetto Fishing Charters—it was a pleasure fishing with you!

You never know what you’ll catch with early Spring inshore fishing. Captain Ryan knows the local waters and worked hard to get us on the fish. We caught our limit of mackerel in about an hour and then picked up a smorgasbord of bluefish, sheepshead, a red drum, and a porgy all in a four hour afternoon trip. I took my daughter and her college roommate. Neither had been ocean fishing before and my daughter went more to spend time with Dad than to fish. But both girls caught lots of fish and had a blast. We also had some closeup encounters with sea turtles which was a bonus. Captain Ryan, a Coastal Carolina alum, was awesome with my first time fishing ladies. He made the extra effort to make sure they were enjoying the trip. Like me, I could tell he enjoys passing on his passion for fishing to others. I look forward to fishing with Captain Ryan again

Thank you so much for the kind words—this one means a lot. Springtime fishing is always full of surprises, and I’m glad we were able to get you on a great mix of fish and make it a fun, memorable trip for everyone. It was awesome having you, your daughter, and her roommate onboard—watching first-time anglers light up never gets old. I truly appreciate you trusting me with the experience, and I’m already looking forward to getting you back out on the water again soon!

Captain Ryan had a great personality and was on top of everything the whole trip. As soon as we got a bite he was right there helping and guiding us. Literally seconds after the catch he was handing us another pole ready to cast. I did get a little sea sick and he was very caring and accommodated quickly. If nothing was biting he was not wasting time and would move us to another spot which I appreciate. He was very knowledgeable. Captain Ryan was great especially with my son and making sure he had the best time. We all had a great time and will be booking with him again.

Thank you so much, Mrs. Hall! I really appreciate the kind words and I’m so glad you and your family had a great time. It was a pleasure having y’all on the boat, and I’m especially happy your son enjoyed the trip. I always want everyone to feel comfortable, taken care of, and have the best experience possible from start to finish. I truly appreciate you booking with me and look forward to having y’all back out again soon!
Our first trip on a fishing charter and it was great. Captain Ryan felt like more of a family member than a captain. He showed us all around the inlet and explained everything we had a question about. I would without a doubt reccomend a trip with Capitan Ryan to anyone, first time fisherman or highly experienced. Thinking about going back to Myrtle just to go on another trip.

Thank you so much for the kind words and for trusting me with your family’s first fishing charter! It was truly a pleasure having you all onboard, and I’m glad you enjoyed learning about Murrells Inlet and spending the evening on the water with me. Fishing was definitely tough that evening, so we made the run out to the reef hoping to find a better bite. Unfortunately, the ocean conditions changed quickly and really blew up on us. Coming back through the jetty mouth was some of the roughest water I’ve personally had to navigate, and I can’t thank you enough for trusting me to make the right decisions and get everyone back safely. Safety will always come first on my boat, no matter how badly we want to catch fish. I really appreciate the recommendation and especially hearing that I felt more like family than just your captain. Fishing with your dad and seeing him have a great time on the water was awesome to me. I’d love to have you all back aboard the next time you’re in Myrtle Beach—hopefully with calmer seas and a much stronger bite!
