He’s also a light tackle and live lining specialist who will stop at nothing to get you on some big, tasty fish!
Capt. Chris offers a wide mix of trips designed to get the most out of the famous waters of the Middle Chesapeake Bay and the Potomac River. Enjoy a few hours of bottom fishing or trolling, try out several techniques on a 6-hour charter, or spend the whole day live lining for the biggest cow Stripers out there.
Whatever you do, do it in comfort aboard the “Fire Escape,” a 26’ May Craft pilothouse boat with room aboard for up to 5 guests. The vessel is powered by a Yamaha V6 offshore engine which kicks out 250 HP to get you to the fishing grounds at speed. It won’t take you long to find the fish when you get there, either, thanks to dual color sounders complete with CHIRP.
The Fire Escape is ready for action against anything that comes you way, with premium light tackle and downriggers for those hard-to-reach fish. She has a choice of life-like lures or live bait fresh from the tank and fishing licenses are included on every trip.
In short, Capt. Chris has thought of everything so you don’t have to. Just pack your food and drinks and jump aboard for a great day out. Don’t forget a cooler, because Capt. Chris will make sure it’s full of fish by the end of the day!

4 Hour Trip - Bottom Fishing
Hot summer morning.
Great summer morning of fishing even though on the hot side. Captain Chris found the fish right away and stayed on them through the trip. The kids had a great time and captain and first mate more than helpful keeping the lines baiting and in the water.
