What an unforgettable day on Lake Ontario with Captain Brent and BP Adventures! We came a long way for this trip hoping to experience some serious Lake Ontario fishing, and Captain Brent absolutely delivered. We caught LOTS of beautiful, HUGE brown trout, and the action made this one of the most memorable fishing trips our family has ever had. From the moment we got on the boat, it was obvious that Captain Brent knows the lake and knows exactly what he is doing. He worked hard, knew where to find the fish, and kept us on them. Watching those rods go off and then fighting these enormous brown trout was an absolute blast! What impressed us just as much as the fishing was Captain Brent himself. He was friendly, professional, patient, and great to spend the morning with. He made the whole experience enjoyable and took excellent care of us from beginning to end. What an absolutely amazing experience I booked for my son and his friends! My group of 14-year-old boys had the time of their lives out on the water, and catching a cooler full of salmon made the day even more unforgettable! 🎣🐟 The captain and mate were wonderful with the boys—patient, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone had a chance to be involved. Watching their excitement every time they hooked a fish was priceless! They came home with huge smiles, lots of stories, and memories they’ll be talking about for a long time. It was the perfect experience for a group of boys (or anyone looking to spend a day on our beautiful Lake Ontario) who love adventure, fishing, and being outdoors. This captain brings a lot to the table: he’s friendly, deeply knowledgeable, and clearly respected within the local fleet — the steady stream of calls from fellow captains speaks volumes about his experience and reputation. His boat is clean, his gear is top‑tier, and he runs a tight, professional operation that puts clients on fish. That said, there were moments when his communication could have been smoother. When we made a couple of mistakes and lost fish, his reactions came off a bit abrupt. While understandable in the heat of a bite — especially for someone who takes pride in his work — a more patient or encouraging tone in those moments would elevate the overall client experience. It’s worth noting he lost a fish himself, which underscores that it happens to everyone, even seasoned pros. Despite that minor critique, his skill, professionalism, and results make him an easy choice. I’d book with him every time I fish out of Oswego

A group of 4 of us drove 11 hours from North Carolina to come to Lake Ontario to catch salmon. After reading great reviews we went with captain Perkins and are glad we did. According to captain Perkins as well as other captains the fishing had been the worst of the season the few days before we went. Despite a slow start to the morning, captain Perkins did everything he could to get us fish and we ended up getting a limit with some giant salmon in there as well. It’s obvious that he knows what he’s doing and if there’s fish to be caught he can get you on them. There’s a thousand charters for salmon on Ontario, but if you want my opinion just go with Brent Perkins at BP adventures, you won’t regret it.

We had an amazing time with captain Brent and Frenchie! They had everything ready to go when we arrived and got all the lines in the water right away. We got some great early bites so I suggest arrive a little early to get out there before the other boats. The boat was clean and neat and the crew was kind and knowledgeable. Such a fun experience for our family and we will definitely be chartering again!

Today was the absolute best fising day ever! Captain Brent had us hooked up on MONSTER King’s within minutes! Amazing day - highly recommend!!! We will see you again next year.

Captain Brent did an excellent job hosting my fishing party for three consecutive days. his mate had quit the night before and if you have ever charter fished you know what an important role they play in keeping things running smoothly. We had an amazing afternoon of fishing! Captain Brent and Frenchie were constantly switching things up and adapting so we were always on the bite. They did a fantastic job coaching all of us, but particularly the young kids in the group. Thanks for a great experience. We will definitely be back!
