With calm seas and big fish, LATER ON Charters is an excellent choice for any Great Lake enthusiast. Launching out of Oswego in New York, you will be able to explore the stunning Lake Ontario from the comfort of your own boat.

The vessel is a 31' Baha Cruiser with a private head, a large air-conditioned cabin, and latest gear and tackle by Shimano, Shakespeare, and Ugly Stik, to optimize your chances for a trophy. It comes powered by twin 350 HP Volvo Penta engines and can accommodate up to 6 anglers. The boat features everything you need for a productive day on the water.

The spring Brown Trout fishing can be fast and furious all the way through June. When King Salmon show up, it's time for the heavier tackle and venturing offshore. Steelhead are mixed in for an added action. When the bite tapers off a bit, you can target Lake Trout in the depths. The opportunities are limitless!

LATER ON Charters provide all rods, reels, tackle, and lures for your trip. Your own food, snacks, and drinks are always welcome on board, along with any 'lucky rod and reel' that you want to bring. A valid fishing license also needs to be obtained before the trip.

we booked a trip with capt jim and the boat later on. very happy with the boat and gear.Fishing was a little slow for everyone on the lake but we did catch some very nice brown trout. I will boot another trip in the future

Broad Horizons Guide and Charter Services

Unfortunately Jim was having some engine troubles on his boat. But he was able to hook us up with another Captain, Andy on Broad Horizons who was great, very friendly and knowledgeable. The chatter over the radio was everyone was having trouble finding Salmon. But Andy was able to put us on some with 4 bites. We ended the day happy with two large Salmon.

Great day on the water

Took my son and nephews out with Jim for a 6 hour trip and he put us into some Salmon and brown trout that were by far the biggest fish the boys had ever caught. One of them has already updated his profile picture to the one we took with his fish, so we must of done something right! Jim's a great guy to spend a day fishing with, or more if you have the time. Thanks!

August fishing trip

Captain Jim and captain Jeff were great.  They told us when we got there that the fishing was slow.  The lake had turned over because of the strong winds the day before. Surface water temps were in the 50's. The captains worked hard and managed to find several  salmon for us to catch. We really enjoyed our time on the boat

Awesome trip!

My husband, 2 teenage sons and I had a great afternoon with captain Jim.  Jimmy was fantastic at providing guidance and encouragement to the boys who’d never fished for Salmon before. And they caught 7 fish. A few were huge. I can’t recommend this more.
