Vintage Fish Company
For your next vacation or trip to the New Hampshire seacoast, you should definitely book a trip with veteran and local Captain Adam Baker, owner of Vintage Fish Company. Located between Hampton Beach and Portsmouth and only an hour from Boston, Rye Harbor and Vintage Fish Company are easy to get to. Your day will be spent fishing in the Gulf of Maine where most trips we're fortunate to see wales, seals and other cool marine life.
You will depart Rye Harbor aboard F/V Valhalla, a 35' RP downeast boat that is wide and stable and made for offshore fishing. There's plenty of room for everyone on the deck and in the cabin. Captain Adam or Captain Shawn will take you to the fishing grounds, while the mate gets your gear ready. Ruby will show you around the boat, keep you company and likely sniff your bag for anything she thinks is food. Be sure to ask Captain Shawn about some of his tournament winning marlin caught during his fishing career in Kona, Hawaii.
Depending on which trip you choose, you'll either be targeting Bluefin Tuna or Cod, Haddock, Pollock, Redfish, Cusk and occasionally a Halibut. We only use top quality gear and even your fishing license is included. The captain and mate will help you bait the hooks and bring the fish onboard. And after your day of fishing, the mate will fillet your fish so you can enjoy your catch. Don't forget to tip the captain and mate after the trip. Gratuity is customary and appreciated.
Children are welcome to come along and there are life vests available for them. There is water in our cooler for you, but you can bring other drinks with you, including beer, but the captain reserves the right to limit the consumption of alcohol at any time. Hard spirits should not be brought onboard and we ask that you not bring glass bottles.

We had an amazing day fishing! I highly recommend Vintage to everyone. We'll be making this a yearly trip.
I booked an a full day deep sea trip on the Valhalla. The captain called me a couple days before the trip and I told him I didn't really care what species were targeted and he was free to put us on whatever he thought was biting. It was my 59th birthday and I was 3 friends. Boy did I get what I asked for! After an hour and 20 minutes were were on the deep sea ledges in 150-160' of water targeting Haddock. It was NONSTOP action on the Haddock with a fish landing in the boat every 5 minutes. Couple times we were tripled up! Once the bite died at one spot we were a 5 minute ride to another spot all day long!. We also landed 5 Cusk and 4 beautiful healthy Cod, one measuring 24.5" (of course we kept only the photo)! Not everything was a keeper but I flash froze enough food for a month. Special thanks to first mate Derek for dealing with my seasickness. He seemed like he was everywhere all the time. Unforgettable day!
Ehab, thank you for choosing to fishing with us and celebrating your birthday on Valhalla. Glad we were able to fill your freezer. Capt Adam
Captain Shawn was informative, courteous, a lot of fun, and just a good guy. Boat was nice with plenty of fishing gear and a couple chairs. The day we were out had perfect weather. We signed up for the mackerel trip but just wanted to have fun and catch fish. Ended up fishing striped bass and had a blast! Would absolutely recommend and do it again!
Professional and fun crew! Captain Shawn was great at adding to the overall experience of the trip. It’s always good to get out on the water and great to head right to where the fish are biting!
Donnie, thank you!

Can't say enough good things about our trip, this is a must go, the Captain put us on the fish and the Mate kept us with everything to keep pulling them in the boat!
Thank you Tim
