Must say this man is respected amongst his peers!!! People and other captains/ charts all worked together as a team to make sure that their customer base had a good time. It was nice to see the camaraderie of this industry pool together so unselfishly. Someone hook him up with bait and we shared it with the others and worked as a team thank all of you. Mercia at its best.

It's our first time fishing on a boat. Given it's off season and we were targeting sailfish, it really depends on luck and captain's experience to get fish on. We were really lucky to get a wahoo. Was so excited when we first see such a big fish(looks even bigger than in the picture). Captain Ricky was very patient explaining how he is using all different information to get a better chance. Ricky also helped us to cut the fish. I recommend new anglers to talk with Ricky in advance to understand what to expect and works the best. He definitely has enough experience to give you a pleasant fishing trip.

Captain Richey was great. First spot was not great so he moved us to another spot further out and stayed later so we could haul in some mahi. He really knows the water and how to locate where the fish are. We would go with him again if and when we are back in Key West

If you’re looking for an experienced captain to take you on a charter, Captain Ricky is your man. He knew right where to go to catch the Mahi Mahi we requested. He is laid back, cool, and makes the trip fun, all while teaching you the techniques needed to catch the fish you’re looking for. Also, his boat is a smooth ride even on the rough stuff. We will definitely be using him the next time we come back.

We booked a morning half day trip. We were told we leave at 7:30 and Captain Ricky had the boat off the dock promptly. He did a great job explaining how the day would go, how to use the gear, and what we should expect. We pulled up to our first spot and were on two Mahi Mahi before he could tell us to stand up. Captain Ricky was easy to work with, and not a bossy Captain which is hard to find. The trip was about being out on the water with friends having a good time and catching some fish and we all of it. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I enjoyed our time on the water with Captain Rick. Even though we only caught 2 barracudas, it wasn't because Capt. Rick didn't try. Hopefully weill get another chance on another trip. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing day on the water! Captain Rickey made sure we had a great time and caught lots of fish! He even filleted them so we could have the local restaurant make tacos for us! Highly recommend!

Thanks to Capt Ricky and mate Lucky for an unforgettable day on the water. On a day with less than ideal water conditions, where other boats were getting no bites, we kept filling the cooler at a steady pace throughout the day. Finished the day with a swim at an island beach. Whether you’re a family with kids or a seasoned angler, you can’t go wrong with Capt Ricky.

Even though the fishing was slow Captain Ricky and his crew worked hard and found the fish. We were welcomed at the marina and appreciated the crews dedication to catching fish. The trip is worth every penny and will be booking again.

Spent 3 and a half hours crushing the yellow tail all morning. Too many to count, threw back the small ones. The only time we weren't on fish is when we took a break. 4 mackerel and a shark. Then went out deep looking for some dolphin. No luck there but did bring in a large barracuda as well. All around good day on the water!
