Coastal Guide Service LLC is a full-service charter company running trips in the beautiful shallows of Southwest Louisiana. Fish the Calcasieu Estuary, the Lower Mermentau River Basin, and along the Gulf of Mexico for big bull Redfish, Seatrout, Flounder, and Tripletail.
Captain Vince Theriot specializes in spinning and light tackle baitcasting for trophy inshore fish. He stocks a variety of lures on every trip and can arrange the purchase of bait at market rate if that’s more your style.
You will be fishing aboard a 24’ Haynie HO bay boat. This sturdy vessel is powered by a clean-burning Mercury outboard kicking out an impressive 225HP. This will get you skimming through the shallows at hair-raising speed, letting you hit a variety of spots during your trip.
The boat is also equipped with a stealthy trolling motor to get you sneaking through the flats in search of tailing fish. She has twin livewells to keep your bait fighting fresh, and high-quality rods and reels to make sure no fish escapes your hooks unless you choose to release it.
At the end of your trip, all your catch will be cleaned and filleted for you, ready to cook up or freeze when you get home. Drinks and snacks can also be arranged at an additional fee, including sandwiches, chips, and soft drinks.
