Captain Doug is a really nice down to earth guy. the fish were moving but he had the tools to get us back on them each time! i was personally pumped about light tackle, casting and fighting in my own catch. we booked him last minute due to a travel plans change, he was communicative immediately, super flexible, gave perfect parking instructions, very on top of weather and safety, and he also took great photos for us! we would definitely book this captain again any time! felt the rate was very good, and this experience made our trip! would reccomend for kids and families also.

My buddy and I chartered Between Alarms for a striper trip with each of our sons (aged 12 and 7). Captain Doug was awesome…not only did he put us on fish but he’s great with kids and our boys had a blast. We caught mackerel to use as live bait and fished both live mackerel and plastics. All four Stripers we nailed were too big to keep. Will book him again next time we are on the Cape!

Captain Doug was great to fish with my hole reason for this trip was for my 13 yr old son to catch his first stripper and feel the fight. Well Doug put us on the fish and my son caught the first 4 fish of the day. I landed two and lost a few but had a great time. I got to see my boys face and his smile after he hooked up that’s all I wanted ultimately. Thanks for taking us out Doug you have a return customer with us. Excellent captain and boat.

Trip was great, doug was great with my two kids 4 and 8, accommodating when they needed help. We cought 4 big blue fish on lures at first. Then cought our limit of stripers and probably 6 or 7 extra that got tossed back. Fun trip!

I always have a blast fishing with Captain Doug, his experience and knowledge of Cape Cod waters is extensive leading to great results on every trip! My most memorable experience with Doug was landing a 700 pound giant tuna on a beautiful summer day! The best thing about fishing with Capt. Doug is he’s very accommodating and easy to get along with.

Wasnt quite sure how the kids would handle being on the water but after the first 15 mins I was convinced there would be no issues the kids loved Captain Dougie. He was great with them showing them everything they asked about and explaining it to them. Even after 100 questions Dougie still enjoyed there company. They would have just been happy with the boat ride as they were grinning ear to ear by the time we got to the fishing spot. Which was followed by fish after fish until the kids couldn't reel anymore. They loved that the captain let them release each fish even after they gave it a name. Dougie is a great captain to bring your family out with. The kids are already asking when we can go again. I have fished all over the world and fishing with Captain Doug was some of the best experiences I have ever had. I fished with him three times. 2 times we were on some of the best fishing of my life. The third time fishing was slow, but he made it so much fun. He wouldn’t stop until we caught fish, even though we were over our time limit.
