Join Wicked Tuna star Captain Jarret Przybyszewski along with North Shore Anglers invites you to come fish aboard the 'Miss Sambvca 2', their custom-built boat. Go for a full offshore extravaganza and battle giant Bluefin Tuna or spend a relaxing day on the waters, fishing for Striped Bass or Haddock.

Knowing that Tuna is considered one of the most sought-after game species in the world, it's hard to resist a trip or two. The season begins in June and goes until mid-November.

If Striped Bass are your priority, then you could go out anytime from May through October. And finally, Haddock, Groundfish, and Shark bite best from mid-April until mid-November.

The productive waters of Gloucester are great for both inshore and offshore enthusiasts. Depending on which trip you decide to go for, you will be fishing from 2 miles inshore up to 20 miles offshore.

The Miss Sambvca 2 is a 35' Downeast boat built by Terry Jason in 2014. She comes powered by a 440 HP Iveco engine and can cruise at a top speed of 21 knots. The Miss Sambvuca 2 features a restroom for the maximum comfort while spending your day on the water. She is also rigged with electronics and professional gear for a professional fishing experience.

Whether it's jigging, trolling, pitching the bait or bottom fishing, you will be provided with top-notch rods, reels, tackle, lures, and bait. Fishing licenses are also included in the trips, along with snacks and bottled water.

Best trip ever!

3 Hour Trip - Inshore 7AM on June 14, 2026 • 3 adults • 1 child

What an amazing day on the water! The weather was beautiful, and my two sons had an absolute blast. We started the trip catching mackerel for bait, then headed out to target striped bass.

Captain Frank and Jayden were both incredibly knowledgeable and knew exactly where to find the fish. Captain Frank took the time to explain how the sonar system works, which my kids found fascinating, and he also shared the history of Ten Pound Island, making the trip educational as well as fun.

A special shoutout to Jayden, who was patient, friendly, and great with kids. He spent time teaching my 11-year-old son fishing techniques and made sure he felt involved throughout the trip.

We ended up catching five striped bass in total. Two were oversized and had to be released, but that only added to the excitement of the experience.

If you’re looking for a family-friendly fishing charter with a knowledgeable crew that genuinely enjoys sharing their passion for fishing, I highly recommend Captain Frank and Jayden. We created memories that will last a lifetime! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We Got Sea Bass

4 hour trip -inshore on May 17, 2026 • 5 adults • 1 child

It was a pretty nice fishing trip with family and friends. The weather was lovely and the boat was clean and smooth.
Captain Frank took us ~ 5 miles off the dock, and I had my first luck to catch a cod. It is a good cod but unfortunately not in season and had to let go. Then Captain Frank took us to couple of places, and we got quite a lot of mackerels in different sizes. Sometimes I got 4 at a time. That was a blast to me, and I became ambitious trying to get more varieties of fish. Silence came after my ambition, unfortunately.

We then headed back close to the shore, and used mackerels as baits to fish sea bass. Still quite a while of silence, and time was almost up. Surprise came without a sign, my friend noticed something on the hook, but unfortunately it was gone while we tried to pull it up. It came a second chance we got a good size striped sea bass, and called it a day.

Overall it was a pretty nice trip, and I do hope Captain Frank can take us for another trip and get us more variety of fish and more big ones, like one for each members onboard :)

10 Hour Tna Trio with Captain Frank

Full Day Trip – Bluefin Tuna on August 21, 2021 • 6 adults

Unfortunately we did not get on any tuna but that is part of experience.  We did however catch multiple other species including striped bass, mackerel, and blue sharks. Captain Frankie and first mate John were both very accommodating and professional. We plan to return and try again next year!

Captain Frank and First Mate John fishing for Striped Bass.

4 Hour Trip – Striped Bass (AM) on August 2, 2019 • 6 adults

Had a couple of friends over from the United Kingdom booked a fishing trip for six with North Shore Anglers - Miss Sambvca with Captain Frank and First Mate John fishing for Striped Bass.  
We had a fantastic day, first fishing for baitfish (mackerel) then onto the Stripers. John was great getting us all set up explaining technique and bait placement, we were soon all fishing with high expectations of catching large Stripers, initially caught a few 15 to 25 inchers then bang into a 34, 33 and then a 32 incher, amazing. In total, the group caught 24 bass. Frank is very knowledgeable about these waters and a pro fisher, taking us to several locations to give us the best fishing experience. Frank and John were very personable, weather was great, few beers to celebrate and John filleted our catch, leaving the skin on ready for BBQ. Wow what a day, worth every penny. 
On returning home continued the day by having beers and a BBQ, the fish was to die for. As with the other reviews, highly recommend a day fishing with Captain Frank and First Mate John, what a Team. Thank you Guys :-)
