Top Notch Fishing Trip & Best Deal in Nassau

Best deal on the island! The captain and first mate were both great. Tour starts out with the captain giving a little bit of history while driving out to the first fishing spot. We went to various locations and caught fish all over. They did everything for us. All we had to do was drop the line and catch. Its also a 4 hour trip compared to many of the othefs that are only 3 hours. This is the best deal and trip in Nassau. If we ever come back we will do this again. You wont be disappointed.

Great time on the water in Puerto Rico

Capt. Luis is a knowledgeable seasoned angler. He took us to numerous differnt spots to catch the fish we were tagerting. Everybody on board caught fish. He was accesible at all hours leading up to the trip. We had to reschedule the trip by one day due to bad weather and he was consistently in contact to make sure everything went smoothly. I would reccomend Capt. Luis to anyone who wants to catch fish in PR. P.S. Great way to see a differnt angle of the island from the water.

    Highly Recommend!

If I am ever in the Bahamas again, I will be giving Captain Ted a call to book again with him. It was my first time salt water fishing and I learned a lot. It's true, Captain Ted is part fishing guide and part tour guide. He was very entertaining! Thanks for taking us out! Jordan

Horse-eye Jack fishing is all about fast strikes and nonstop pull. This tough member of the Jack family hits hard, runs fast, and fights to the boat. Anglers love it for its power, schooling habits, and exciting surface action. It is a classic game fish that gives reliable action for anyone who wants a spirited battle.

You can target Horse-eye Jack while inshore fishing around beaches, passes, and current edges, or near reefs when the water gets deeper. Spinning with small metal spoons, jigs, and topwater plugs works great. Live bait such as mullet, pilchards, sardines, or pinfish also scores quick bites. Fly fishing with flashy streamers draws strikes when fish are pushing bait near the surface.

Expect fast runs, wide circles, and a stubborn fight right to the net. Light to medium spinning gear is ideal; use a strong leader to handle sharp plates on their jaws. This trip suits first-time anglers and seasoned pros alike. Wear sun protection and polarized sunglasses to spot bait and fish. Captains often supply tackle and bait, but bring water, snacks, and a camera. Many anglers practice quick catch and release, as these fish are prized more for sport than for the table in many places.

Before you go, check local rules. Make sure you have the right fishing license or permit, and confirm any season, area, or harvest regulations for your location. Some places also set size or bag limits. Rules can change, so review them with your captain or local authorities before your trip.
