    Great Captain and crew

Yarns and Manny were great. They kept the lines in the water and helped us pull up catches at every stop. 3 of us on board caught about 15-20 bonito 1 yellow tail tuna barracuda and a few chocolate rock fish

    Great Family Day!

Captain Shaun did a great job on the water for our family. He is an awesome teacher and answered all the kids' questions. We fished for multiple species using different methods and had a wonderful morning!

    (Half Day Trip — Inshore)

    Great day on the water!

Day started and ended up great! Captain Joe and Jimmy were awesome. Did exactly as we asked. Bottom fishing early and trolling later in the trip as the bit was good. Only downfall was we wanted to have fish for dinner that night but had to go to a processor. Not a big deal, jut would have been good to know. Guy were great, boats good. Would definitely go back out with these guys again..

Yellowtail Amberjack fishing targets a fast, powerful game fish that loves structure and bait schools. These fish hit hard, run fast, and dive for cover. Many anglers seek them for the thrilling fight and their strong, steady pull all the way to the boat.

You can catch Yellowtail Amberjack while reef fishing, offshore fishing, or deep sea fishing in much deeper water. Live bait works well, especially sardines, mackerel, or squid. Metal jigs and surface poppers also produce, with quick retrieves to trigger strikes. Keep steady pressure after the hookset, since these fish try to reach rocks or wrecks. If your captain suggests “yo-yo jigging,” that means dropping a heavy jig and cranking it up fast through the water column.

Expect an active trip with plenty of searching, casting, and moves to stay on fish. This is great for anglers who enjoy hands-on action and a good workout. First-timers can do well with clear guidance from the crew. Bring sun protection, non-marking shoes, a hat, polarized sunglasses, and layers for changing weather. Pack snacks and water. If you are prone to seasickness, consider medication before departure. Listen closely to the crew’s safety talk and tackle tips.

Fishing rules vary by region. Always check local fishing license and permit needs before you go. Confirm season dates, open areas, and harvest rules, including size and bag limits. When in doubt, ask your captain or local authorities. Practice careful handling and consider releasing larger breeders to support healthy fisheries.
