Captain Joel is great. 5 stars for communication prior to the trip. The weather was a concern and Joel kept us informed. The boat was great for our family trip. Gear and bait were top notch. Joel was very patient with our kids. Despite difficult weather, Joel made every effort to get us to the right fishing spots. At the end, he prepped our catch for eating. Would highly recommend this charter.

Have been on many fishing charters and this one was the best! Captain Joel provides an excellent boat with updated equipment. The boat is clean and very comfortable to fish from. He is very knowledgeable about the local waters and was able to put us on fish very quickly. Would highly recommend fishing with him in Panacea!!

Great day with Captain Hurst. He was entertaining and very helpful.The day started out in low 40’s but ended up clear and sunny.The river is spectacular. The trip exceeded my expectations.

We arrived in horrible weather, June 20, 2023. St. George had so much rain that Speckled trout and Redfish were not biting. Instead of taking our party and our money for a non-event, they warned us and advised against going out. That is so impressive!!! They have earned our enduring respect!

If you can get Captain Joe to take you out he is the best charter I have ever had. He did everything he could to get us a limit in a very tough day of fishing. He helped my 9 year old daughter and was very patient and cordial. If he opens his own charter it would be the ONLY one I would go to!

Good day on the water. Despite tough conditions (unusually high tides, 10 to 15 mph winds) Captain John still managed to put us on a few good fish (including a nice 30" red). Very informative and provided a wealth of good info and tips for future trips. I'll be back!

Understanding fishing isn’t always the same as catching, we were happy to just get out on the water on such a beautiful day. But then, our Capt. We were booked for a half day in shore trip but after boarding the boat captain Joel suggested we go off shore due to the high water temperature.im glad we did the fishing was great catching our limit of fish and then having time to troll for a couple mackerel.we even got to see a pod of dolphins and a large sea turtle.everyone had a great time especially the kids ‘10 and 14’ All and all a great trip!
