May

Grouper are in season and are biting like mad. Amberjack are also swimming around offshore bottoms, with Mahi and Wahoo foraging near the surface.

June

The weather played against us with hurricane Ian, and a cold front that produced wind and waves all week. Capt Jay tried real hard to put us on fish, the fish did not cooperate. This was definitely a fishing trip and not a catching trip. Saying all that we had a great time and would fish with him again. My 12y/o daughter who gets bored fishing and only likes catching, took the time to tell him how much she liked the trip.

We came in from West Virginia and took a fishing trip with Captain Mark. It was my 15 year old son first time and he caught a 35inch king mackerel. We had a great time and will be going again in the future.

Capt Mark, Paul and Joe were all great companions and Mark put us on the bait fish quickly then on to bigger things. There were toothy critters about, but the Capt kept us moving so we were able to get plenty of fish in the boat. No anchor, station keeping with electric motor. Nice. Great day, great fishing.
