I was very happy how we caught fishing within 20 min of starting off very early. 1st Mate was great, did lose one fish after reeling it all the way in. Gave some good insight on the island and the fishing there. However the Capt. really did not want to go back out after we dropped off my wife who was sick even though we had two hours of paid fishing left, we did go back out but he did so after I insisted and not even at the spot we were catching fish.

Stay out of the cabin while it's in motion if you can. Otherwise, it can bring on sea sickness much faster, if you're not used to it.
Don't forget your hat, sunglasses, and a sun shirt.

The sea was rougher than I expected, even on a relatively quiet day. Land lubbers should take Gravol or Dramamine before to help with the sea sickness.

Waves can be unpredictable, but the captain was a great handler of his boat! I would recommend trying for a full day if possible, we did get one fish but due to the weather we were unable to get more (also may want to look up weather prior to booking but that can change of course).

Be prepared for waves and plan accordingly. Don't expect to catch a ton, it is not like on TV, but the potential is definitely there...on a positive note, you only need to go about 1/2 mile out to get into the deep water.

When fishing in Curacao be aware that the stiff trade winds create rough seas, the fish are big and put up a good fight but fishing here is not for the weak stomached, and I would not recommend for people new to deep sea fishing.
