Lafitte Flounder Fishing Charters

Afternoon trip departs approx. 2:00 p.m. and returns before dark. During winter months the starting time is based upon the sunset, you'll depart around 4-5 hours before dusk. Enjoy an exciting afternoon in the Lafitte Basin, fishing for Red and Black Drum, Flounder, Trout, and more inshore favorites.

Afternoon trips are a summertime treat. With the sun going down and a cool breeze our afternoon trips provide a comfortable, yet productive experience. The swamp really comes alive as the sun starts to go down. We'll take you to some inshore oil facilities and backwater swamp areas to catch Speckled Trout and Red. Rods, reels, tackle, and cleaning are included in the price of the trip.

Get on the water before anyone else with an early start to the day. You'll be on the most productive fishing spots in no time, trolling or jigging with a light tackle to bag yourself a Redfish, Trout, Black Drum, or more! Your trip doesn't have to end when you get back. You can hang out and talk to other guests and guides as they arrive. End the day with lunch at our very own restaurant. We have authentic cajun food along with a variety of other good home-cooked meals!

This trip involves bow fishing in Louisiana's swampy backcountry and inshore waters. You'll be fishing for the likes of Redfish, Drum, Catfish, Carp, Flounder, and many other fish species. All the necessary bowfishing gear will be provided free of charge. Please make sure you bring a valid fishing license with you.

You'll target Redfish, Sheepshead, and Speckled Trout in lakes, bays, and canals. Fish using bottom rigs, corks, tight lines, gold spoons, fresh shrimp, plastics, spinnerbaits, and chatterbaits. In spring and summer, live bait like shrimp, croakers, and minnows work great. Summer trips include big lakes and beaches where you can catch Trout, Redfish, and Flounder. Spring and summer are perfect for beach fishing adventures too.

Marsh Assassin's Bowfishing will take you on an epic evening. Target Catfish, Carp, Black Drum, Flounder, and more! All bowfishing equipment is provided.

We have been in buisness since 1999 our captains are experienced and know the waters our Goal is to put our customers on fish and have a good time while doing it.

Half Day morning trips depart from Joe's Landing Marina at Sunrise. During these trips, we will explore the marshes of south Louisiana in search of a multitude of species that our fishery has to offer. These trips usually last until around noon or until daily bag limits are reached. All gear, tackle, and bait will be provided. Feel free to bring whatever snacks, drinks, or alcohol that you would like to have for your trip. Upon return, your catch will be cleaned up and bagged.

Our inshore trips include everything you need for a fantastic day on the water: rods, reels, tackle, ice, fuel, and fish cleaning. Pricing is as follows: $650 for 1-2 customers, and just $100 for each additional customer, accommodating up to 4 in total.
