Crew gave us options for type of fishing - halibut, trolling or bottom fishing. Due to conditions (cloudy/foggy, windy, cool - in June!) they suggested bottom fishing. We set up for drifts over rocks and some were more productive than others. We caught reds, bass and others enough for sashimi and fish tacos for days! Entertaining and fun despite the conditions. Highly recommended!

We were a party of 7, three adults and four girls 11, 10, 9, and 8 out fishing on the ocean for the first time. We stayed close since it was the first time out for all the girls and we needed to test their sea legs, so we fished for rockfish and halibut. We weren't able to catch any halibut but we caught plenty of rockfish and a couple of white bass. Capt. Mark prepared sashimi on the boat - it was delicious. Everybody had a good time. Great experience out with Captain Mike. He made the most of our time even though the wind was really rough. He was really accommodating and also made some killer sashimi with the Halibut that we caught. Definitely recommend this for someone looking to have a great time out fishing.
