St. George Island Scallop Fishing Charters

Four to six people can come aboard Join in for a 6-hour “Easter Egg Hunt” type adventure! Spend the day on the shallow grassy flats catching Florida Bay Scallop. Bay Scallop is one of Florida’s most beloved delicacies! You'll be snorkeling in about 3 to 8 feet of water using a dip net or your hands to catch this tasty shellfish! Seasons – Franklin and Wakulla Counties Jul 1 - Sep. 24; Gulf County (Port St Joe) Aug 16 - Sep 24. Scallop cleaning is not included.

On this trip we will leave from Apalachicola and take the intra-coastal over to St. Joe Bay. You will need to bring your own goggles (mask), snorkel,fins and scallop bag. Upon arival we will anchor the boat and jump over board looking for scallops ! You may see Dolphins, Sea Turtles and even Sharks on this adventure. This trip is only available August 16th through September 24th. Make sure to pack plenty to drink and snacks because this trip will definitely make you tired and thirsty!
