Mid summer through October is prime time for shark fishing out of Gloucester. Porbeagle sharks up to 500 pounds, giant Thresher, Blue Sharks and Makos are all common around this time. You can do battle with these strong fighting fish on standup gear, full sized tuna rods or even light tackle.Some species are excellent for eating and can be processed for you to take home.
