This split day trip is the ideal choice to get Tarpon at the end of your line! You'll head out early in the morning for 4 hours of fishing before coming back to shore and breaking for the hottest part of the day. Just before sunset, you'll head out again for another 4 hours, maximizing your chances of hooking into the Silver King. ** Fuel is not included in trip price** A 10-12 hour customizable trip to Historical Fort Jefferson. The Dry Tortugas is located 75 miles west of Key West. Unmatched bottom fishing for snapper, grouper, and other species. We can also tour the fort, snorkel, and sightsee. Travel time is approx 3 hours each way. The boat is clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned.

Have a great time fishing as well as relaxing on the sand. You choose how much time you want to spend on each activity and the captain will work out a plan. Families with kids will especially like this trip. You and the captain can leave the dock whenever it suits you.

For my 6-hour inshore snapper trip. We catch mostly mangroves, mutton snapper, dog snapper, lane snapper yellow jacks, hogfish, porgys, and sometimes red and black grouper. The best times of the year to catch fish for dinner is October through May. The hottest summer months, " June, July, August, and September " the snapper and grouper go offshore to spawn. I use mostly live, cut pinfish, and ballyhoo on light spinning tackle.
