The broadbill swordfish is one of the best tasting and hardest-fighting gamefish available off our coastline! We offer full day trips targeting swordfish along the offshore canyons and drop-offs 15 miles offshore. We use electric reels to drop baits over 2,000 feet down where swordfish up to 500 lbs can be hooked! Anglers have the option to hand crank the swordfish or use the electric option to bring up these large fish from the deep. We offer full processing and cleaning of swordfish at the end of trip.

LIVE BAIT WILL BE INCLUDED on this trip (thats why it costs a little more than our regular 6hr). Our techniques will vary depending on the conditions or time of year. But we will be looking for the fish of a lifetime for you and your guests aboard our 53’ luxurious Hatteras.

On Swordfish trips we target swordfish in 1,500+ feet of water with electric reels and heavy tackle.
