Captain John and first mate Jeff were very accommodating. Over our 5-hour haddock trip, we caught 4 different species of fish and saw a whale! John and Jeff made sure we were all having a good time, and everybody ended up catching something to keep by the end of the day :) I would absolutely recommend this charter

Excellent captain on a great boat! Captain Brian was very down to earth, and super nice so nice that he didn’t even curse once! He was out early looking around for fish b4 we even got there, and he got us on a hotspot within 10 mins and the fun started, fish after fish and the rest is history. Guy is a seasoned fisherman who’s been at the game 30yrs plus so don’t worry you will be in good hands. Can’t wait to go back out with captain Brian.Thanks

Captain John and his mate Jeff took us out for a 9 hour trip & it was non stop catching all day! We had an incredible time and a lot of laughs- the fish were the bonus! I will definitely be booking another trip with Tuna Tail Charters!!

Captain Brian worked very hard to enable us to catch fish. My only regret was that we were not able to find live bait. The only thing I did not understand was that the charter was for six people, but only 3 could fish at one time.

Matt is an excellent captain! He explained what we were fishing for (striper bass), hauled our fish in, & was easygoing (shared information about boats in the harbor, gave restaurant recommendations, & had an upbeat vibe the entire trip).
Would book again if we were to return to Gloucester!
