Definitely come for Tarpon, and the Snook, Sea Trout, & Redfish as well. Also, it is an incredibly beautiful area as well.

Weekend definitely has more boaters around. We didn’t plan ahead to not fish on a weekend.

Boca Grande Fishing Charters
My sons had a wonderful fishing trip with Dylan. They caught snook, spanish makeral , specked sea trout and other species. They were in awe at how many fish they kept reeling in so quickly.

Great time fishing shallow waters - caught a variety of fish, very knowledgeable guide. Go in morning during summer - blazing hot & attempt to avoid the afternoon showers. Lots of fun!

Early spring fishing is best, but we did very well in midsummer. The area is very picturesque and even on a day with no fish the day on the water is worth in.

While it seemed that the dock talk while waiting was that the fishing was slow we still caught plenty of fish and had enough to take some home. Overall we caught over 6+ species.

Check to see that the tarpon are in before booking. We had fun successfully fishing for Red Fish and Trout in the sound, but initially booked for Tarpon.

It’s pretty hot, boat shoes and sun shirts were a good idea. Definitely recommend polarized sunglasses. The captain has almost everything else!
