Riepilogo della Battuta

We finished last night’s trip 9 for 12, but it took some time to locate the fish. We started by running the slot into the Herring Hole, working 120–140 FOW. The graph was almost blank — very few marks — and we didn’t take a single hit in the deeper water. 41°F at 120 After covering that water thoroughly, we made the decision to slide up onto the top of the bank inside the Herring Hole, in 40–45 FOW. We found 49°F water at 35 feet down, and the fish had moved up into that warmer band. Several tight bait balls were stacked on the bank, and every pass through them produced hits. Once we settled into that zone, the bite turned steady and consistent.
